Milaidhoo Maldives

Milaidhoo, what can I say ? This was our second stay in Milaidhoo after December 2024. In December we decided that Milaidhoo is our favourite Island up until now and after 6 other Islands. It was a delightful stay all the way again with some changes of course. We stayed in the same Watervilla that we stayed in the first time. Unfortunately there was some construction going on during our stay repairing the wooden path close to our Villa. We do understand that construction is necessary and after calling Roxy the rather loud noise was gone after 2 days. Another thing that we realized was, all the sandy paths on the Island were totally clean during our first stay and different in September. All was good of course but it was a change. The Monday welcome reception at 5 pm was changed from a wonderful Ruinart to a Gustave Lorentz Cremant. We did two tours to Hanifaru Bay with unfortunately not the same success that we had 10 months before, even during high Manta season. The water was full of Plankton with low visibility. But that is nature and nothing to complain but to mention. It is allways a wonderful experience and definitely mandatory to go to Hanifaru Bay to have a an experience of a lifetime with the Mantas. Food , breakfast and Diner same as last time, was wonderful and a delight in every way. Some specials, some tasteful catches of the day, etc etc. Just to mention, we always used Ocean Restaurant. The Island is a paradise with a perfect reef and the most fish at the reef that we encountered during other stays on other Islands. Every day at least two turtels, sometimes even 4 of them, white tip, black tip reef sharks, lazy sharks, Moray eels and all sorts of Reef fish. Thanks to the exceptional family members (staff) the stay is , was and in the future will be something special for us. Thank you Saaha, Shippe, Thiru, Oswaldo, Muray, Shiaz, Juvain, Evinda, Roxy and Paul ! The order does not reflect anything, we just enjoyed the company and talks with everybody. Unfortunately Alfi was on vacation and Kokko was not there anymore. Lakshita was not there anymore as well, but we will see him in a couple of days on another Island. See you again for sure !

Stayed at Milaidhoo with family. Everyone had such a great time! Our butler Clare is wonderful, always a text message away, anticipating everything we needed ahead of time, and arranging surprises that made our stay especially memorable. We would see her many times every day and feel like we were treated like family. It's rare to find a place where staff make heartfelt efforts to make your stay as perfect as possible. We are also fortunate to have good weather and were able to do most of the activities planned. We snorkeled at the house reef every day and marveled at the biodiversity there. Our villas were perfectly situated, very close to the rim of the house reef with a brief swim, and always impeccably clean thanks to the cleaning staff. We also did many activities both inside and outside of the house reef with Dombe and the rest of the crew. They were all very delightful and truely remarkable, sharing many knowledge about marine creatures and water activities, and making sure everyone has great diving/snorkeling experiences according to their comfort level. Also enjoyed the local island tour with C.R., who makes sure everyone has a blast and learns something about island life. We are very sad to have to leave, but definitely created so many great memories. Really hope to return again some time!
