Holiday Inn Milan - Garibaldi Station Reviews

Located around a 12 min dodgy looking walk from Garibaldi Station, this hotel exceeded my expectations and was perfect for a two night stay. Found this hotel due to a great rate through Trip.com. Reception was friendly and provided helpful information with getting around town. Great air-conditioning and comfy beds. The only thing I didn't like was that the shower took a while to drain.

A great area to stay in my opinion … not too central but very convenient

Room is nice and cozy albeit a bit small if you intent to use the desk for work since it also has the TV and tea on it. Shower water pressure is also strong and they provide travel toiletries! The staff is very friendly and helpful and has extra things at the front desk. Location is very good, about 7 min walk to the station. Sometimes if it’s very quiet, there is a very light shaking from the trains going by from time to time which I find somehow endearing too.

Not far from the Garibaldi and Isola metro stations. Grocery stores and estaurants nearby. But I didn’t like the housekeeping and front desk service.

Very helpful and friendly front desk staff, compliments to them! Location is good, close to Garibaldi train station, albeit still a solid +10 minutes walk to the station hall, but also with 3 tram stops next to the hotel. Rooms however are not in the best state, with dated furniture, and many bathroom facilities not working (such as bidet, toilet flush button, and showerhead). Rooms were also tiny, even for Italian standards very small, and my room was only equipped with one set of towels. Another set was found in the closet, but disintegrated upon use and spread white fluff /everywhere/. Hotel also does not have a place to stop for 5 minutes and offload luggage for guests traveling by car, as the main entrance is located at a busy road intersection. No doorman or porter present. Cleanliness is acceptable, although the aged rooms feel worn and used.

Holiday Inn is always like this, the room is relatively large, but the location is not the most ideal, it takes 15 minutes to walk to the subway station, there are also restaurants around, all in old buildings

The room and breakfast are good. But it is relatively convenient to take a taxi. The tram is OK, but the subway is far away. The tram to Milan Cathedral can go directly there.

Trams M2 and M4 are just opposite the hotel, which greatly facilitates quick access to most major attractions without the need to transfer. The rooms are not new and some facilities are not well maintained (for example, the air conditioner in the room still starts automatically after being turned off, and the front desk has to be asked to turn it off manually remotely), but Holiday Inns in various countries are unlikely to have obvious flaws. After all, the hotel chain group has unified service and facility standards. The public parking lot next door does not belong to the hotel, but there is an area exclusive to the hotel. The most worrying safety issue during vehicle storage did not occur, which can be used as a plus point

The location is OK, but the room is small and the facilities in the room are old. I personally think that apart from the hotel's restaurant and bar, it is a three-and-a-half-star hotel in Italy.

I booked this hotel on a business trip to Milan. The location is very convenient, right next to the train station, and it is very convenient to go to the airport the next day. The hotel facilities are very good, the service is very thoughtful, and the breakfast variety is also very good.

This is my first time staying in this hotel. Overall, I am very satisfied. It is not far from the train station by taxi. You can walk to Chinatown. The hotel staff is friendly and the service is good. Although the room is a bit small, it is well-equipped and clean... Overall, the price-performance ratio is relatively high. Next time I come to Milan, I will still consider staying here.
