Beera Farmhouse

One of the best places we have ever stayed and the views from the farmhouse are incredible! Hilary and Robert are great hosts and make sure their guests are happy. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they really welcome you into their fabulous home. We stayed for three nights and didn't want to leave! The farmhouse is located in stunning countryside and provides good access for visiting near and far. Had a great time in Devon and staying at the farmhouse was the icing on top of the cake! Hopefully, we'll be back again at some point and I'm sure that Robert and Hilary will look forward to more of Dad's stories! Thank you so much, Jo and Den x

Our second stay at Beera Farmhouse and again Hilary looked after us really well. The setting is idyllic and peaceful. The room was spotless and the little extras really appreciated. Breakfast was per Hilary's usual exceptional standards. One of us is gluten-free and Hilary went above and beyond to accommodate. We're looking forward to staying again in the future. This is about the best b and b we have stayed in in UK. The farmhouse is in a beautiful setting, a little bit off the beaten track but the lovely countryside makes up for that. Hilary and Robert are very welcoming hosts and despite their hectic life on the farm, they made time to chat and advise on places to eat and to visit. It was also lambing time and Hilary took us into the barn to see the new lambs. What a treat. Our room was very comfortable and spacious and we slept in a new super king size bed which was bliss. Hilary is a trained chef and we ate dinner on one night. The meal was delicious and beautifully served. Hilary really knows the hospitality business. We recommend Beera Farmhouse without reservation.

A superbly comfortable farmhouse B&B. Hilary and Robert looked after us extremely well. They were very friendly, attentive hosts and Hilary's breakfasts were amazing! We couldn't have asked for more.

Home away from home but better! We have stayed at Beera many times now, we like many others who stay there think of it as our home when we are fishing the Tamar. However, we always feel special and welcomed just the same way we did on our first visit and it just gets better! A cosy sitting room to watch the rugby this weekend, fresh local produce at breakfast and a supper to rival any restaurant should you choose that option. Nothing is too much trouble. A wonderful working farm offering fantastic accommodation. Beautifully decorated rooms, with lovely tea, coffee and biscuit tray. Lovely toiletries in the bathrooms. Immaculately clean and amazingly comfortable beds. The views across the valley from all rooms was fabulous. Wonderful breakfast with so much choice and all home cooked. We were arriving from a long journey to attend a family wedding that was being held locally. Hilary went to so much trouble to ensure our stay was relaxing and nothing was too much trouble. Exceptional and we look forward to making a return visit.

We have been staying here for many years, and always thoroughly enjoy our visits. Hilary and Robert are such welcoming hosts and Hilary's cooking is superb. Standards are exemplary, and the surroundings are beautiful! This stay gave us a much-needed break which was peaceful and restorative.

Wonderful location. Excellent en suite accommodation and menu to challenge any first class Restaurant. Friendly family service . The farmhouse is a working sheep farm but the farmhouse itself is adjacent to the farm and the latter does not intrude upon the accommodation- except to say that in the mornings, one is woken to the sound of sheep. What more could one want from this idyllic situation. Bring your own wine as there is no alcohol licence but there is no corkage charge. Cannot recommend more highly except to say that the less people aware of this treasure the better for me!
