Stayed here last minute as an anniversary getaway (all we wanted was a night away from the kids and to eat dinner in peace). We were greeted by a lovely receptionist called Arun who was very friendly and helpful. The pool is warm and clean and the sauna was a nice addition. We had a meal in the restaurant and the food was good and served quickly by friendly staff. The room is basic but comfortable, clean and spacious. I feel like this is a very good value for money hotel and would definitely come back again, especially as the staff are so friendly.

We stayed with two young children and my husband, who is disabled. We booked a two room suite which was a lovely size, little night lights in the twin room (nice touch) lovely bath (with grab rails for my husband. Twin sink, nice toiletries and clean rooms with comfy beds. I'm a Hilton Honours member and am very impressed in general with the Double Tree offering from the company. Breakfast was fresh, great variety, friendly staff, was personality. Very aware of my husband's needs too. Highly commendable. Just a couple things. * We got all the way to the room and the digital key failed. I called reception who asked me to come and get a key, when I said I had a disabled partner and children I couldn't leave, was met with 'you have to come back to reception' lesson learnt. Don't bother with the digital key. Ever. * The hotel needs to invest in smaller high chairs for babies. It was huge, took up space and was a bit dirty. There are lots of local eateries nearby and shops too for your convenience. We would come back here again!

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The decor inside is modern, stylish and tastefully decorated. My room was nice and well laid out. The colours really suited the space. It was very clean and tidy, as was everywhere else. The restaurant area was very clean with modern furnishings and a well organised place to eat & drink. The food was delicious, and the service was first class. I could have stayed there all week, but I was only there for one night. I regularly use budget hotels as part of my job and many other hotels in that price range could learn a thing or two about how to provide fantastic service at a reasonable price. Chloe, on the reception desk was lovely to chat to and very professional & polite. For me, it was a refreshing experience.

Great place to stay! The Peartree Lodge has great facilities; all rooms are en-suite & we always request a Marina View. The team are excellent and nothing is too much for them. We are always welcomed with a smile. When visiting Milton Keynes no matter where we are going this Lodge proves a great base and easy to reach destinations with a short taxi ride or drive. Thank you Peartree Lodge for another stay - our first since the big C hit & great to see the same standards remain.

The receptionist was veey Ffiendly and helpfu atl check in. The Room was nice and clean and the bed was really comfortable. Would definitely stay again

I booked this hotel as part of a package which included afternoon tea and tickets to Bletchley Park. This was meant to be a special treat for my husband's 60th birthday. I was impressed by the photo of the Deluxe Double room on their website. A couple of days before we went I gave my husband all the info, including the photo of the room which I was expecting. We set off on our almost 3 hour journey, excited for a luxury break. We arrived a little early for check in so decided to have our afternoon tea whilst waiting. The tea was lovely, very filling and the Laura Ashley tearoom was as beautiful as the pictures on their website. We checked in at the beautiful reception area, walked through the lounge area, saw the bar and restaurant on our way to our room, again beautifully presented, everything we expected from a luxury 4 star hotel. Sadly, that's where it stopped. We were first shown to room 104, our deluxe double. It was disgusting. Filthy carpet, thick black dust in front of the furniture, what appeared to be a large orange/yellow vomit stain on the carpet, stained and ripped soft furnishings. The bathroom was no better, broken toilet flush, rusty shower fittings, rusty light fitting, split and peeling woodwork and paint peeling off the walls. The deluxe double room was not what was shown on the website. We immediately asked to be moved. We were moved to the room next door. Again, this room was as filthy as the other, again cracked woodwork, peeling paint round the sink, a used cottonbud on the floor by the bin, the two 'leather' chairs that had fabric that was cracked and missng on the seats and arms and was only fit for the tip. The window seat waa stained and ripped and surfaces and carpet again thick with dust, and still didnt look like the room I booked. At this point I rang the agent we booked through. They spoke to someone at the hotel as the General Manager - Andrew - wasnt in. The staff member then came and said they were moving us again, to a ”Premier deluxe room” a free upgrade apparently and also offered us a free drink in the bar, which we declined. Hallelujah!! Spoke too soon. The premier bit presumably applied to the nespresso machine, the trouser press, and the canopy thing over the bed which wasnt present in the other rooms. However, on first look it did appear to be more acceptable and the bathroom was at least clean. The bed area was not great, the curtain/canopy thing over the bed was thick with dust, the hospitality tray was also thick with dust, the nesspresso machine was unusable due to its covering of thick dust. It was, sadly, tired and dirty and baring no resemblance to what we booked. The room wasnt serviced at all during our 2 night stay. By this time it was 6pm, we'd had a long journey and there was no other choice but to accept the room. The following day we spent at Bletchley Park which was amazing. I hate to say that before our stay, I thought Holiday Inn as being fairly average and nothing to rave about, and having not stayed at this particular hotel for 10+ years, and on that occasion it was with a work Xmas party, we booked last minute just for convenience whilst visiting family over Xmas. How wrong I was!! We got absolutely 5 star service in all respects. The receptionists could not have been more friendly and helpful, likewise the gentleman who served us breakfast both mornings of our stay. I wish I had got all of their names as they were just wonderful. The hotel is clean, light & airy, quiet (especially so at the moment whilst London Road is shut for the next few weeks - bonus!!), great parking and very well located for onward travel. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, probably a new fave for us in MK and we stay quite frequently. Thank you to all your wonderful staff!!

Located on the Cranfield University campus, this is an excellent, well planned, cleaned facility. I was impressed by the attention to detail. Pleasant room, with everything you could want: TV, Tea & Coffee facilities; Good WiFi, Comfortable bed, Hot & powerful shower, Luggage rack, Hairdryer, Iron & ironing boad, even a box of tissues.

Stayed here for family function and had three rooms Staff were really helpful and friendly and gave us adjoining rooms in the extension. These rooms appeared new and were in excellent condition Three minor points The hotel was very busy being half term and the staff were so busy checking in guests that service at the bar was unavoidably slow in the late afternoon The car park is quite large but the harvester opposite is so busy when we got back we had to park at the far end which if you had luggage would be inconvenient.I was able to move the car in the morning Lastly like all expresses the breakfast quality is something of a lottery.on this occasion the coffee were better than usual express standard but bacon and egg were disappointing Generally however well above average for this brand
