Nicely located on the outskirt of Makurazaki, plenty of parking right next to the entrance, there is also restaurants and convenience store within walking distance. Room is typical Japanese style with balcony overlooking the sea. There is Onsen in the hotel which is added bonus, very relax experience at the end of the day. The gentleman at the front desk who check us in offer great service with details explanation to the room and facility, he also assist to book our dinner restaurent. Great stay overall, well done

I had a family use a room (Japanese style room) with tatami mats for two nights. The room may have been renovated during the coronavirus, but before, it looked like an old hot spring inn, but this time the room was clean and the image completely changed. For some reason, I felt good, but I only received one key, so I feel like I need to improve. The dining room is a private room, and it feels larger than the last time I used it, perhaps too spacious for two people? That's what it felt like. Hot springs are passed to the table, and guests can make hot spring eggs and boil vegetables. They also fried fish cakes right in front of you. (Employees will do it for you) Is it like keeping something hot while it's still hot? As was the case last time, this is GOOD! The difference from last time (before the coronavirus) is that the employees are younger, and their attire has changed from Japanese to Western clothes. However, the customer service remains the same. In addition, the garden was decorated with elaborate lighting at night, and coffee was available for free at the rest area at the entrance to the garden. There are about 10 parking spaces on the hotel grounds, and there seem to be others, but if you want to park on the hotel grounds, arrive early.

The Sherton Hotel in Kagoshima was an absolute gem of a hotel! This is our first visit to Japan, and we are admittedly nervous about the language barrier and cultural change from the US. From the moment we checked in, the staff has bent over backwards to make sure we are comfortable and have done a fantastic job to make this stay completely comfortable and enjoyable. The location is perfect right at the center of downtown Kagoshima, and the rooms, restaurants, and common spaces have more in common with a Four Seasons than with what is standard Sheraton in the US. We were not able to take advantage of the spa, but the Onsen (Hot Springs Sauna) was so relaxing and rejuvenating — especially after 26 hours of flights to get here! HIGHLY recommended. Thank you to the staff that has helped make our 4 days in Kagoshima a memorable experience! Now off to Hiroshima!

Convenient location, especially if you arrive in Kagoshima by JR or the Shinkansen - obviously, as this is a JR Kyushu Hotel. The facilities were well furnished, and the breakfast from the restaurant was also nice. Comfortable stay overall - I'll certainly stay here again if I come to Kagoshima next time!

It locates near the bus terminal and Kagoshima Chuo Station, there is a Lawson at G/F. Airport bus can stop at the entrance of the hotel. It is very convenient for travelers. The room is cozy but not very spacious, though it is a good choice for short stay for several nights.

The rooms are not very spacious. There is a simple desk, but it is a chair without a backrest. There is a small refrigerator, but it is not very good at cooling drinks, so I don't think it will be useful in the summer. I stayed here on a business trip, so it is fine if you only use it to sleep.

It is a business hotel located in the downtown Tenmonkan in Minami Kyushu, but it was only called ”Rem”, and I was able to sleep well as rarely for me to sleep until I was woken up by the alarm clock. The city trams and buses are running on the road right in front of me, but I didn't care about the noise at all. １ I had breakfast at the talis in the building because it was breakfast for the night, but it was quite well organized and substantial.
