Amazing

Ryokan Yumotoso is in a perfect location in the quaint town of Kurokawa. There are about 12 rooms only, hence its quite a quiet and small establishment. Service staff are all great, and the room view is fantastic looking over the beautiful river. The open onsen also overlooks nature, and private onsens are rustic. As per Ryokans, breakfasts and dinners are included, and so far, we have never been disappointed with food in Ryokans, including Yumotoso. Do note that parking lots are limited, and the lane leading to Yumotoso is rather narrow. Would recommend Yumotoso for its great location, fantastic room view and rustic environment.

The place is quiet and easy to find. Parking is next to the hotel, which is very convenient. The hot spring has a separate room, private space, and a soaking pool for two people. It's nice. The room is big and comfortable. In terms of food, please appreciate it individually, try it yourself, and then draw conclusions.

The futon was clean, and I liked it the most since I went on a trip to Japan. It is kind and pick-up is available, so please use it. As for the route, if you take the express bus, you can get off at the Oncheon Village stop, so you don't have to take the subway. Breakfast and dinner were all delicious. It was a good experience.

I arrived a little before 18:00, but the staff came out at the entrance to respond and the explanation was very kind. However, since the accommodation is located along the creek, the sound of the water may be a little annoying. The water quality and temperature of the hot spring were also very suitable.

I got the impression that the people at the inn did a very polite job. The room was clean, the room food was delicious, and the food was served in a timely manner, and both adults and children enjoyed their meal slowly. The indoor bath was a little small, but you can open the window and listen to the sound of the river while bathing. I traveled with my father and daughter, but Yumotoso has become an inn that I want to visit again.

Thank you for your help on 23/4/12 with 6 siblings who have become elderly people. The open-air bath, in which rich light rust-colored (iron spring) water was poured freely into the rock bath, was extremely soothing. The meals were delicious and included local ingredients. The employees were from Nepal, but they worked hard and I could feel their sincerity. The government's travel support, which has been extended from the end of March to July, has been adapted very well, and I received a discount on accommodation costs and a 2,000 yen shopping coupon, which I was able to use to add to my souvenir expenses.

I only used the private bath for a day trip. 2000 yen for 45 minutes for 2 people. I was able to use it even in the evening while other inns closed the day-trip chartered bath at 3 o'clock. However, you can't make a reservation for a private bath for a day trip, so if it's available, you can enter. Ordinary indoor baths can be toured without reservation. In the dressing room of the private bath, everything from cleansing oil to milky lotion is available, so you can enter empty-handed. I brought my own towels, but they are likely to be rented or sold. The proprietress is very courteous, and the ryokan has a well-maintained interior, so I wanted to use it for my stay. The parking lot is not available for day trips, so we parked at a nearby free public parking lot.
