There are many public and private bath to choose from in this ryokan. Plus you can get the kurokawa onsen pass (tegata) which gives you access to 3 external onsens in the town (most ryokans in town are participating) within one year of purchase of the tegata. We didn’t book dinner at the hotel, and used the diner time to try Nonohana お宿 野の花 and Ryokan Konoyu 黒川温泉 旅館 こうの湯, then next morning before breakfast I went to most of the onsens in the hotel, then after breakfast we checked out and tried Miyama Sanso 山みず木別邸 深山山荘, all four places (including this hotel) have amazing onsens and views. We drove so it was easier for us to try onsens far from the hotel, but driving in town wasn’t the easiest given narrow roads. The parking lot is a few minutes walk from the hotel, we kept the key with us for easy move around.

Kurokawa Onsen, Yucai is an older hotel. The room we chose has an outdoor hot spring, so there is a bit of moisture in the room, and the humidity will also appear on the furniture, but it is really comfortable and convenient to take a bath in the room. . Meals are all self-service, so there are time restrictions. You must eat within the specified time. It is not conducive to shopping at night. After breakfast, you can go to Kurokawa Old Street and eat snacks and seasonal snacks from the store. Fruit is really enjoyable. Very suitable for travelers who want to walk at a relaxed and slow pace.

Youcai Hot Spring may look plain from the outside, but it is a different world once you enter the lobby! A new view at every step. Sit in front of the French window and you will only hear the sound of gurgling water. It is like a paradise on earth!

The hotel's hot springs are great, and the dinner and breakfast are rich. It's very suitable for travel. The room also has a Japanese style😀 The service staff are very considerate and worth staying again😀

The location, hot springs, and cleanliness all got high marks, but the food was disappointing. Buffet included drinks. If it was a family trip with children, it would have been fine, and I would have preferred a private room even if I paid a little extra, but I guess it can't be helped due to a lack of staff.

The hotel is in an excellent location, not far from the hot spring street. The rooms are comfortable, the meals are exquisite, the open-air bath is great, you can see streams and waterfalls, and there is stargazing equipment on the top floor, which is great!

Both the food and the environment are impeccable. However, the hotel name provided by trip.com is different from the real hotel name. "Youcai" is written in Chinese outside the hotel door. Please correct the error immediately to prevent other guests from finding the hotel.

This is a very good ryokan. The dinner buffet is also good. The friendliness of the staff and the sanitary conditions are also excellent. However, it was a little inconvenient because the hot spring facilities were operated differently from the instructions.

Much better than the photos on the Internet. There are two private hot springs for hotel guests. It is OK for a family of three, but it will be a bit crowded if there are many people. The public hot springs that can be soaked with hand-shaped cards only have ordinary toiletries and no towels. The ones for domestic guests only use facial cleanser. , facial masks and body lotions are all available, and towels are also available. There were very few people and the outdoor pool was very comfortable. If you go with the set menu, you won’t have a problem filling up, but the variety is a bit limited.
