This is one of the many traditional inns on the south side of Obama's hot spring town. It is an old building with two floors and a common toilet, making it an old-fashioned hot spring, but you can enjoy the hot spring and food at a reasonable price. The hot spring is an acidic Obama hot spring that flows directly from the source. Meals will be eaten at the restaurant. The white meat sashimi, such as fresh sea bream and flounder, was served in small bowls, sashimi, tempura, simmered dishes, and hot pots, and the portions were delicious and satisfying without being too much. Highly recommended for people who don't expect to stay in an inn with new facilities.

I was as little apprehensive staying here given the poor ratings, but I couldn't have been happier. Staff were friendly, and made an effort, although only 1 reception girl spoke any English. I had a Japanese style room overlooking the lake. It was massive, and very comfortable. The only issue was that the windows weren't double glazed, and it was freezing outside (-8c overnight), and the sitting area got extremely cold. I guess it doesn't normally get this cold though. The room was warm with the sliding doors closed. The onsen were perfectly acceptable. The rooftop one was great in the snow! I had half board. The food options were extensive at both breakfast and dinner. If you don't eat Japanese food the choice will be quite limited though. Good selection of free drinks, and decent selection of paid for alcoholic drinks. There's loads of common areas and places to relax. A previous commenter mentioned the long corridors, which is true, the wrong room can mean long walks to the onsen and restaurant. Overall, 5*. But remember this is a JAPANESE hotel, catering to domestic tourists, so don't expect an international style hotel!

Check in at the nearby Hamakan Hotel, then return to the Gisco Hotel, press your PIN yourself and enter the hotel. There are no employees at the front desk. In case of emergency, it seems to call the Hamakan Hotel. Take your favorite drink from the refrigerator at the front desk 1 book. Breakfast is also a system to take from the refrigerator by yourself, but I'm worried about safety because there is no one. At night 8 Sometimes, night shifts seem to come. It feels like an apartment or apartment with auto locks. The room is clean and tidyly renovated. Toilets, wash basins and showers are separate 々 so it is easy to use. There was even a foot massage machine and a hair iron. The view is great as you can see the sea from the room. There are seven and supermarkets just near the hotel. There is also a place to eat. I don't use it, but there are also large communal baths and table tennis tables.

Second use 〜 overnight stay. The room is beautiful. I just sleep I think it's enough. The meal is a discount ticket for the tavern nearby This was used again for the second time 〜 (laughs) The restaurant was prosperous because the dishes were delicious. It's the first hot spring, but it's not in the hotel. I took a bath at another hotel. I think this is good because it is a night stay and cheap. There are various encounters 〜 (^^) and when you climb a little slope, there's a cold spring of carbonated water I brought it back with a PET bottle and used it in the bath. It seems to be good for the skin. Please come near it.

Staying at the hotel is mainly because the hotel has a shuttle bus to and from Nagasaki City, so you can save a lot of transportation expenses, make an appointment by phone in advance, have standard Chinese service, and pick up the shuttle bus at Nagasaki Station at 2 pm. The hotel is a standard Japanese family hotel. The service is absolutely first class. Basically, it is a 跪-style service. After dinner in the room, we will deliver Kaiseki on time. The hotel is Yunxian Hell. Although there is no large size of Beppu hell, But it is still worth a visit.

The location of the hotel is indeed the best of Yunxian, built on the volcanic lake. The Japanese emperor who had just ascended the throne had also stayed there. The hot springs here look out over the entire volcanic lake on the second floor. It is a red iron-containing acid spring, but the overall facilities are old and the service is somewhat slow, not as enthusiasm as a traditional Japanese hotel, and the price/performance ratio is comparable to that of the soup stayed the day before. Not too high

We stayed at Iseya a whole week while visiting my partner’s son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren in a nearby town. We have stayed in Obama previously for the same reason, and the town was just as nice as we remembered. But this was the first time we had stayed at Iseya, and we are so glad we did. The ryokan has been there for centuries but was rebuilt in 2019 and now has all the modern comforts. The in-room private onsen is fantastic, real geothermal spring water, and really hot. The views and sunsets over Tachibana bay are great and we enjoyed watching the local older people play “grand golf” on the town playing field opposite the hotel (with the bay behind) every morning at 7 am. But it is the staff who really make the place special, so friendly, despite our very poor Japanese, and several speak good English. We really felt welcome, despite being the only foreigners staying there on most days. The breakfasts are fantastic, no need for lunch, and different every day. We ate there just one night and the meal was equally good. The housekeeping was immaculate. Overall highly recommended, and although not cheap, not vastly expensive either and definitely good value.

The hotel is a pure Japanese-style hotel, the rooms are large and clean, and the hot spring rooms are also Japanese-style. The waiters are very good and the service is good. An appointment is made for breakfast at 8 o'clock in the morning. I entered the breakfast room at 8:03 and found that the breakfast was neat and tidy Placed on the table and waited..., If you want to experience an authentic Japanese hotel, this is the best choice. In addition, you can’t enter the hotel with shoes. Socks or slippers are required. When checking out, the shoes were cleaned and placed there. There is an extra charge for the hot spring, which seems to be 600 yen a day. In terms of location, the hotel is very close to Shimabara Outer Harbor Station, just a few minutes walk after the battle. There is the sea outside the window..., the dock... the boat to Kumamoto. There are two Familymart convenience stores downstairs near the station. There are two big supermarkets not far away. It is very convenient to walk or take a small train to the city center. If it is not for shopping, Shimabara is a place worth visiting, quiet and quiet...

Satisfied mentally, satisfied physically Most of the staff were young, but they all had very nice smiles and were very attentive to every detail. Unzen Onsen is my favorite spring quality, and the town itself is a place where steam can be seen floating in the air. This time, I will introduce the ``Open-air bath with a guest room.''It's a spacious room with a view of the steam, as if the guest room is in the open-air bath, and it's one of the best places in the world. The room had a decoration. The food was delicious and made with locally sourced ingredients, and when I told my partner on the internet that he doesn't like meat, they took care of it, so the two of us were able to enjoy the food without having to put up with it. There were various activities, and when my partner came back after participating, he seemed to be having a lot of fun and talked about it a lot. I realized that it was a lot of fun. After it opened, I had a hard time getting a reservation for this place, so I was finally able to stay there. Kai, I always enjoy my time to the fullest from check-in to check-out. As always, this time I was able to leave feeling particularly satisfied both mentally and physically. My partner and I have said that we have no complaints at all. Thank you very much for making this a really good trip.

I stayed for the first time in several years. It is a fashionable hotel with a chapel on the premises and a wedding. The reception was polite and smiled. The basic plan (Japanese room 10 tatami mats) of the Japanese party seat [wami] was able to stay reasonable for about 10,000 yen per adult. The room is a type of bathroom and toilet. There was a makeup drop in the bathroom and an all-in one gel, and a shampoo conditioner body soap in POLA. The safe in the room was keyless so it was easy to use. Compared to the Japanese style room when I stayed here before, it is a sea view, but the scenery is not so good (the roof of the entrance is visible). There was no roomwear, only yukata, and there was a bath towel and a face towel. The PET bottle in the refrigerator is paid for all mineral water, but it seems that it can drink tap water, so it moved to the container and cooled and drank. It is a little far to move to the adjacent hot spring facility [Perra's Yufune], but you can call the bus immediately from the front desk. Amenities were cherry blossom oil and soy milk shampoo cherry blossom conditioner cherry blossom body soap. There were many face washing forms and packs that were usually placed in the washroom, and somehow they were placed on the washbasin of the dressing room. There were also makeup water and all in one gel. There are sea hot water and mountain hot water, so you can enjoy both because it is a men and women replacement system every day. Both were very nice hot springs. There was free cold water in the rest place and I was grateful. Dinner was served at the restaurant on the first basement floor. It is on the first basement floor but you can see the sea because it is a pass. The staff was rustling and elegant and nice atmosphere restaurant. The dishes were very beautiful and it was more like a French course dish than a Japanese party seat. The dishes that were still cooking the cherry blossoms with steamers were delicious. And the first time I ate the brand pig of Kumamoto called ”fire book pig”, the dish that boiled the thick cut with demi glass was very soft and delicious. Alcohol was very rich in shochu. It was different from the meeting seat peculiar to Amakusa's inn, where there were a lot of brews and seafood dishes, and I enjoyed it slowly with sake in a fashionable atmosphere. The dishes for children (low grades in elementary school) were carried with a very fashionable large plate. With corn soup and juice. The dessert is a combination of crepe with strawberry cream and fruit. (Photos are shown) Breakfast was served in a buffet style in a hall like a reception hall. The squid somen in the seafood bowl corner was delicious. There was a warm French toast, and it was delicious and replaced with maple syrup. The fruit was well ripe and sweet. There were many delicious dishes and I felt luxurious.
