Comfort Inn & Suites Sikeston I-55

Wow, really impressed. Great price, room was extra clean, pillows, blankets and mattress was spot on, sooooo comfortable. Staff was really great. Breakfast was awesome, except for the biscuits, they were too hard, but everything else, awesome. One draw back only, tge hot tub, was not so hot. It was more like warm, but hey, can't haveve erything. Great job...

The hotel is located away from the road so location is quiet. We asked for a first floor for a mobility impaired guest and they accommodated that request. Check in was quick and friendly. We noticed several small details that were overlooked when cleaning the room, but overall it was good. Beds and pillows were comfy. Breakfast was good.

Great service at this hotel. Went in with no prior reservations and asked for first floor room that was non smoking the lady said yes we could do that for you. Room was clean odor free. Location was quiet despite being close to the interstate exit. Will be making this my go to place to stay when I go to Sikeston.

On a recent road trip, my wife and I used TripAdvisor and Google Maps to choose this hotel. The location was convenient and easy to find. When we went up to the counter to check in, there were two employees behind the counter, neither of which acknowledged us right away. The male saw us but didn't make a move; the female seemed not to see us, and finally, the male drew her attention to us and she proceeded to check us in. I think the male was the incoming shift and wasn't yet on the clock. There was some semi-snarky comments passing between them, I think about prior guests...it was a bit unsettling. We requested a room on the uppermost floor to avoid the clomping of elephants above us. Our room was clean and quiet, but the door frame was missing part of the safety catch, which we reported at checkout the next morning. We were surprised that it not been noticed before and replaced. The breakfast room is beautiful but the temperature was quite cold when we checked in, but was much warmer in the morning. The breakfast offerings were typical Choice Hotels fare, and food was plentiful.

We booked this one online, got to the room and the first thing I found was the extra security latch was missing screws to work properly, the bathroom was the worst, you can see the pictures, the tub bottom was not cleaned well, it was dark, bleach works well, there was mold in the corners and around the tub edges, The manager asked me how our stay was and I asked if he wanted the truth, he nodded yes, I told him and he said he would discount the room. Have not seen a credit as of yet. I rather have a clean room. First time at this hotel and the last.

Everything was just adequate. I don't like carpet in hotel rooms, they seem dirty. The room just didn't have the "clean" feel, but ok for one night. The breakfast was okay....several items to choose from. The dining area was so cold, your food was cold before you could eat it. The staff was friendly enough.

The front desk allowed me to check in early and moved my king bed suite room to the first floor for even faster wi-fi after I told them I had a Zoom Meeting. I had to ask for help MANY TIMES during my stay. (I even locked myself out at one point.) Everyone was so kind and friendly. I was particularly grateful for the high-quality AC. It was 100 degrees outside. I had stayed at other hotels along the way and not all of them could keep up with the extreme heat. This Comfort Inn & Suites used Frigidaire AC units. It was a brand name I recognized so perhaps their choice of the brand helped. All the bedding and towels had the softness and comfort I have come to anticipate when I book with Comfort Inns. (Other Comfort Inns have deteriorated since 2020, but this hotel has kept up the standards.) It is near lots of restaurants, and I also found a Kroger Grocery nearby. I will DEFINITELY stay here the next time I am in the area.

Do not recommend for the following reasons: 1. Holes in bedsheets 2. No toilet paper, had to ask for new roll 3. Drain in shower wouldn’t stay up 4. Smelled like it used to be a smoking room 5. TV screen is really small; the resolution does not match the size of the TV and can’t be adjusted appropriately. 6. Carpets seemed dirty. 7. Toilet hadn’t been flushed when first walked in; there was used toilet paper and a shirt tag in the toilet?!? What the heck?!?
