Was there one night for business. The gentleman that checked us in was very warm and friendly and check in went smooth. The room was much larger than expected and the bed was very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again when I return. The plus is also the short ride to the airport!

An older establishment that could do with a face uplift. The rather garish, jaded, yellow hallway decor created a negative first impression. The premise would greatly benefit from a cleaner and fresher appearance. The single small elevator was barely adequate for guest traffic. Our second-floor room was notably musty on first entry but this quickly faded as we acclimated. The room was equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and 32” TV. The double-queen beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom was also clean and the shower was fine. Breakfast was good with a variety of traditional offerings. First appearances are sometimes deceptive, particularly when the underlying product is solid. Not much can be done about an old building, but a lot can be accomplished with new wall furnishings and a can of paint. Management might be happy with the status quo but would be well advised to consider modest refurbishment.

One night stopover on our drive through the state. Room was well appointed with a sitting area separated from the bedroom. Desk area is the separation. Tv is between and can swing between the two sides. Can use your phone as the remote for the tv. A small bar area with microwave and fridge. Fridge didn’t have a freezer. Bathroom had a nice shower. Spacious with good towels and water pressure. Nice lighting throughout the room. Could be dim or bright as you wanted. Bed was comfortable and clean. Only one side had a bedside table. Room darkening shades on the windows. Even though it was close to the interstate it was quiet in the room. The usual breakfast type things in the lobby. Nothing special there. Has a pool and exercise area.

Well done, Hilton! We stayed here one night since we arrived in the city one day before our convention started. This was a superb choice. The staff was great, and everything was clean and well vacuumed - not like so many hotels these days that seem to go days before the floors are cleaned. The room was bright and cheerful, and the bed superb. The breakfast is a true breakfast like you’d find in a restaurant. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

GGuest UserRented a suite— very spatious & nice room. Close to everything & can walk to several eateries & shops. The only negative was around 9pm at night they would turn on the security lights in the parking lot in front of the hotel & they shined (way too) brightly into one’s room. They essentially are floodlights! Would be nice if the lights were directed downwards! The breakfast is wonderful! They have an assortment of hot food items including omelettes, sausages, biscuits & gravy, pancakes, French toast & the usual food fare. I liked how they put pairs of sliced bread, bagels and English muffins in zip lock bags for sanitary purposes and how they had hand gel dispensers in the lobby and near the entry and exit doors to hotel. My only suggestion is that they extend the breakfast hours. An end time of 9:30am is way too early especially if you have been out celebrating a special family function such as a graduation & want to sleep in. 😉

GGuest UserWe live three hours away and just needed a decent room for the night prior to an early morning medical procedure. We chose this hotel for its location fairly close to the Medical Center and for the reasonable rate. I was concerned by the heavy smell of cigarette smoke just outside the entrance, but there was no trace of smoky smell once we went inside. The lobby and our room appeared fresh and clean. It looks to have received new floor coverings in the lobby and a fresh coat of paint throughout. The staff was welcoming, pleasant and helpful. Although this is an older hotel and shows some wear, the recent face lift has given it new life. Our room and bed were clean and comfortable. This Sleep Inn is located on a busy intersection yet no street noise penetrated to our room. I made a couple trips to the convenience store across from the hotel entrance and was pleased with the staff there as well. I felt perfectly safe. I cannot comment on the pool or exercise room as we did not use them. Both areas appeared clean, but I did notice a sign reporting that the hot tub was out of order. The breakfast fare offered a nice selection and is pretty typical. We were pleased with our stay and would recommend the Sleep Inn for a pleasant stay at a reasonable rate.

AAndyKansasCityWe had a king bed with sofa, microwave, and refrigerator. The room and bed were clean and comfortable. We were able to adjust the AC to our comfort. The woman who checked us in was very welcoming. However, this facility is in need of an update. Much of the wood trim and doors are scuffed and scratched, which not a good look. Breakfast was standard for this type of lodging, but the milk was about to turn sour. We were a little concerned about some of the people who were wondering around outside, as well as the patrons of a bar across the street, but didn’t experience any problems related them. It’s a very convenient location, right off I29.

My wife and I stayed 1 night, arriving before 3PM to a welcoming receptionist who checked my ID, processed my payment while I filled out a liability paper, then presented the key cards. We took the elevator to the 3rd floor. Room #316 had new carpet, clean with a comfortable king, desk & chair, easy chairs, clothes bar and medium sized refer with micro & coffee machine. Opening window view to the side parking lot. The fully outfitted bathroom had a tub/shower and powerful fan. The medium sized TV had a hotel guide with 52 channels(CNBC, CNN, ESPN, HGTV, MSNBC, networks, etc). Good secure wifi, ample outlets, good lighting and under window AC/heat. The 7AM breakfast was very good: OJ, apples, raisin bran, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, waffles, bagels, bread and coffees. Overall, we had a quiet night’s sleep and enjoyed our stay.

GGuest UserA giant red flag was the prominent sign at check-in with a detailed explanation of their refund policy (boiled down, essentially, to ”no refunds”)... Clearly many guests are dissatisfied with their accommodations. It would seem likely for good reason. My experience started with a horrible check in. The clerk found my reservation, and informed me that I had been ”upgraded” to a suite because they were oversold. Then her computer monitor went blank. Rather than give me a room key and let me get settled as she worked to fix it as I suggested (since she had, after all, already seen I had a room and knew which type), I had to stand there for 25 minutes while she worked with her manager to try to reboot the system. When I finally got my key, I traveled down drab hallways in need of fresh paint to find my suite. My immediate impression was the ”suite” had furniture that was so badly stained and disgusting (see photos) that I'm pretty sure you could find much fresher items curbside on trash day. Later, when I went to bed, I discovered the sheets had a ”baked on” crusty material on one side of the bed (sort of visible in photo). I'd guess it was food that survived the wash and got dried in, but I'm not really sure. I'm not sure how anyone folding the sheet from the wash or putting it on the bed could not notice, but nothing at this place suggests a great deal of care or concern is put into the guests' experience. During the evening, I found the hotel wifi so overloaded that I couldn't really use it - I was able to pull down 1.3 Mb/s at the most. Although it worked better in the morning. The toilet was also running every few minutes, with no amount of handle jiggling able to stop it. There are literally at least six motels within a short walk of this place. It's unfathomable that at least one, if not multiple, would be a much, much, much better choice.

GGuest UserThe place was very clean, checking in was very quick and the desk person was amazing. We had breakfast 2 mornings and it was very good, very clean. The evenings we sat out by the beautiful fire pits. Property was very well kept up and very nice.
