Misasaonsen Kouraku

The hot springs are very good. The food was the best for us at Misasa Onsen. Especially when it comes to white rice, I always end up emptying my ohitsu. Of course, the room attendants are nice and kind.

I visited with my father. Although the outside of the building appears to be damaged, the inside of the inn is kept in good condition. The hot water in the public bath is just the right temperature, neither hot nor warm. The food was made with local ingredients and was both delicious and filling.

I stayed there as a solo traveler, and the room was really smelly. When I opened the door, the smell of cigarettes was filling the room, so even though it was winter, I tried opening the windows fully to ventilate the room, but there was no way that the smell that had stuck in the room would go away, so I asked them to leave it carefully. I tried spraying Febreze, but it had almost no effect. I tried to stay out of my room as much as possible by taking a bath at the inn's hot springs and going to the hot springs outside, but I had to go back to my room to sleep at night. I tried to sleep, but the bed was small and the smell of cigarettes persisted, giving me a severe headache (which went away after I checked out, so I think it was the room's fault. I wonder if it's treated as such. To be honest, I wish I hadn't stayed there.
