I went to Moran because I was looking for the "Slow" experience, I really needed a break. The website encouraged coming solo. Upon arrival I was devastated to discover a whole company had taken up most of the hotel, running workshops, group activities all over the place. It was difficult to find a quiet space to read, relax etc...I expected groups at Isrotel, not a place encouraging slowness. In the evening they had a party with singing and dancing etc...this is fine in general, but I paid 1500 shekel to just get a slow environment. The restaurant is extremely over priced, claiming "chef level" experience. It was very disappointing. Once the group departed after 2 days, the place was much better. I recommend checking if there are groups if you go to Moran, and definitely take your own food or leave the hotel to eat. The place is beautiful, however it is very far from "slow".
