It's a bit far from Mito Station (maybe a 20-minute walk), but this time I stayed at the Mito Citizen's Hall for business purposes. It can be reached on foot in about 5 minutes, and there is Kyojo Department Store nearby, so shopping is quite convenient.

I used a twin room, and except for the fact that it was small, everything was equipped and the cost performance was good. I think it's good as a business trip accommodation. There is a welcome drink service, and for breakfast, bread and boiled eggs are placed in front of the front desk, so you can bring them and eat by yourself, as there is coffee juice in the room, like a cafe. There seemed to be no salad or water. There is a large public bath on the 6th floor, and a small bath on the 5th floor that you can use. There is a constant mechanical sound in the room. i can't sleep. When I checked with the front desk, they said it was the same for all rooms. The walls are thin and you can hear a lot of surrounding noise. Sounds of walking, TV, etc. Perhaps that's the premise, earplugs are provided at the front desk. Even with earplugs, I couldn't block out the mechanical noise. The noise from surrounding rooms becomes less noticeable. Overall quite old.
