Aoshima Fisherman's Beachside Hostel & Spa Reviews

Amazing location with spectacular view of aoshima. 3 mins walk to the beach, 10 mins to aoshima shrine. Bus stop to sun messe and udo shrine is right outside of the hostel. Value for money. Very good customer service. Gave guest a room tour on arrival. Female dormitory available with a separate key to lock the door and guest can use their locker. Feel very safe and secure. All the facilities are very clean and well maintained. The hostel also comes with onsen at 700 yen per admission. This is not related to the hostel but a tips for travelling. Dinner is tricky at Aoshima because almost all restaurants would require reservation. Book early.

You can watch the sunrise on the beach. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The room is clean but too small. We only stayed in the 4-person room for 2 people. After unpacking our luggage, there was no place to go. The bathroom equipment is really not very good, and the shower water switch is not very good. The water can only come out for about 10 seconds at a time. I don't know how many times I pressed it to wash my hair or even take a shower. Fortunately, I only stayed for one night. The room price is also expensive. I chose it because it is very close to Qingdao Shrine.

I'm sure there are various ways of thinking about this, but I wonder what you think about not providing indoor shoes (slippers are charged separately) and not providing tissues in the room (it was difficult for me as I have hay fever). Although it's called a spa, the large communal bath is out of service due to last year's earthquake, so you have to go to an affiliated facility yourself (it's too far to walk to and there's an additional charge). There's only a shower in the room (poor hot water supply). What was good was the 1,100 yen breakfast, which was excellent.
