Miyazaki Daiichi Hotel Reviews

I only stayed here one night passing through Miyazaki so I can’t say much about the location. It wasn’t too far of a walk from the train station & there is a convenience store close by. Easy check in process & lots of amenities. My room looked clean but had a really bad smell I couldn’t get over & it kind of turned me off to staying here. Besides that everything was good.

Free parking. Just parked at P1 or P2 and inform the hotel your car number. Decent breakfast. Room is big and comfortable. Many restaurants around that area.

Very basic hotel, very tidy room. No space for the luggage. Twin room have 2x double bed which is much bigger, can place the luggage on the other bed.

The service of this hotel is very good as they provide free drinks in the lobby and free rock sauna for women. The amenities are great. The staffs are very polite and friendly. The buffet breakfast is good too. Just one thing is a little bit far from JR Miyazaki station and you need to walk at least 20mins.

Truly fantastic place to stay, the amenities for the cost of staying even in obon is off the chain! This place has it all, a spa which is free, mini golf, a playable piano, great rooms, free drinks including beer! The list goes on. Would fully recommend this place to anyone. However and this wasn’t a problem for me until after the fact, but if you have tattoos you may be disappointed. This is not something that is stated anywhere in their advertisement of the hotel until you get there, thankfully I could use the spa, but it’s definitely something that you should be aware of to avoid disappointment. Other than this. The place is great, the staff are friendly and put in a ton of work to keep it as nice as it is. Me and my partner agree this is a 4.6/5!

Very nice

I was surprised at how polite the customer service was! The facility itself is probably old, but it is well-cleaned, the hotel doesn't seem dark, and on sunny days the corridors are filled with sunlight, giving it a Miyazaki-esque atmosphere.

The sauna is attractive. You can also taste low-malt beer and shochu after the bath. It's open until 11pm, so it's better to go early. It's a little far from Miyazaki Station, but it's good that it's right next to the Tachibana-dori 5-chome bus stop. There are many added value such as free bicycle rentals, and it's good because it shows the effort that goes into making it.

It takes about 15 minutes on foot from Miyazaki Station. It's very easy to find if you just go along the main road. There is a free bathhouse and bicycle rentals. The bathhouse has draft beer and shochu, and up to 3 glasses are free. A simple snack bar is also free. The breakfast is clean, although there are not many varieties. The room is a bit small, but it is a good value hotel.

It's about 10 minutes away from the city. The location is not great, but the hospitality is excellent and the hotel thinks about the details of its guests. The lounge area from the large public bath and the free drinks there are great, so you can relax and take your time. I think it's worth staying an night just for this hotel. I wish they could extend the bath time a little more in the morning.
