Except the food is not very good. Everything else is good. It should be especially beautiful when the red leaves appear in autumn.

The default meal in the evening was not delicious. When I checked in, the front desk asked me if I liked tomatoes and cheese. It turned out to be the soup base of pork hot pot, and the rest was not delicious. I wonder if I can add money at the front desk to change to a set meal. Natural hot springs are very special. You can just soak in the hot springs without staying in the hotel.

The environment is comfortable. You have to take a sightseeing bus to get to the outdoor hot spring. The hot spring water naturally comes out of the 38.2-degree sulfur hot spring. It is slippery. There are many bees in the outdoor hot spring. They will chase people and attack. It is a bit scary. The dinner and breakfast are rich. There are parking spaces nearby. In mountainous areas, it is better to buy all the food and drinks before entering the hotel. The hotel door is closed in the early morning.

Absolute secret place Location: It is located at the high point of Iya Valley, surrounded by mountains and mist, like entering a fairyland. It only takes 3 minutes to walk to the urinary monk, don't miss it. Service: The hotel shuttle bus was booked in advance (JR Oboke Station). The driver was very considerate and stopped at the Iya Gorge Observation Deck to introduce and let us take pictures. Hot spring: It is very unique. You need to take a cable car to the outdoor hot spring, close to the Iya River, and the water temperature of 35 degrees directly out of the hot spring is very suitable for summer. Listening to the birdsong & the rushing river, looking at the green mountains & clouds, smelling the sulfur-smelling air, and immersing your body in the hot spring water, it is very comfortable and relaxing. Food: Breakfast and dinner are arranged with mountain delicacies, which are beautifully made and worth a try. Room: The layout is exquisite, and the bonus points are - audio equipment & "Morning, Dusk, Night" CD, which makes people feel particularly soothing and very attentive. Service: Active and enthusiastic, you feel at home.

I booked two rooms, both of which face the cable car, as shown in the picture below. There is no view at all. And after nightfall, the roar of some kind of machine resounds all night long, and you can feel the vibration even if you cover your ears. One of the rooms smells like urine. The hot spring is warm, about the same as body temperature, I prefer hot springs. The breakfast is terrible!

The hotel is located deep in the mountains. It was a pity to stay for one night in the itinerary. The hot springs there are the best. The rooms are very comfortable. The food and drinks are fresh from the river. This hotel can give guests one more choice, which is more ideal.

It was a good experience to take the cable car 🚡 to the hot springs. Although there was a dead fly in the room that was not cleaned up, and the appetizer touched a strand of hair, it did not affect the fact that it was still the best hot spring hotel in Shikoku, because it was expensive hahahaha. The food was also good, but the sulfur spring was not hot enough, and it felt quite dirty when there were many people.
