This time I basically booked hotels with Ctrip during my trip in the United States. I compared priceline with booking and tripadviser, and found that Ctrip's offer is quite competitive, and the information is basically accurate, including parking fees and whether meals are waiting. I rarely come back to comment before. This time I will refer to the user reviews here before I book a room. I feel that it is generally relevant, so I also plan to spend some time to leave my personal feelings. Although subjective, I hope there is a little reference.
The motel that temporarily settled on the way back from Yosemite is located in the center of the town, opposite a bank, and there is a museum nearby. The family members said that they thought of the police arresting scenes in the US film, which made me live on the second floor, and I was a little scared to get something from the car downstairs. But the motels are like this, with the best western brand, the quality and experience of staying are still acceptable

We were in town for a family surprise birthday event. We have come to Modesto for the last 25 years off and on for family occasions/visits and have ONLY stayed at this hotel. At least 10 times. (or more) The price is reasonable for the room size/condition (which is wonderful) and for the overall location and hotel amenities. Breakfast is great and this is the only 'hotel coffee' that has been drinkable in ANY hotel we have stayed in! Staff have always been very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

We checked in March 5, 2020 and stayed till May 16, 2020. We have no complaints. Everyone treated us with kindness and great service. After staying for a week or so, the covid 19 shut down happened. The staff made us feel safe and at home. I can’t say enough great things about Karon, Monique, Mickey, and Waun and all of the other staff. They were all so friendly and helped us in anyway they could. I’ve enjoyed our stay here so much and really hate leaving because of the kindness shown to us here. We travel with my husbands work and live from hotel to hotel. All I can say is- What a great team the staff here make! I sure hope the owner recognizes and appreciates their hard work! The hotel was always very clean and comfortable. Big Rooms and big bathrooms. Beds very comfy. -Oakdale will hold a special place in our hearts because of you all!! We will most definitely be back! Thanks again y’all! Miss you ALREADY!!!

I feel very good, it is a chain hotel, very clean, breakfast variety is not too much, but it is ok. I am Yosemite and went to San Francisco the next day. I feel that this location is very good and I share the distance. Air conditioning is as noisy as ever... America seems to have this problem in all hotels, not open at night

My wife and I were there for two days to visit our daughter and granddaughter in Salida, CA. Everything in the hotel looked clean. The people at the front desk was very welcoming. Our room was very nice and clean. Shower pressure and hot water was very satisfying. I have been to many hotels with breakfast as one of the amenities but never experienced two different flavors of waffles and among other items they even had red potato country fries and biscuits and gravy. I will choose this hotel again.

The staff at the Hampton are pleasant and professional. The second that we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and service upon arrival. The room was very clean and spacious. Each evening, you can hear such silence which allowed us to sleep peacefully throughout the night. The breakfast were fantastic each day! From oatmeal to waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, including biscuits and gravy, variety of juices, even pastries and more. We left the Hampton as VERY PLEASED CUSTOMERS!! I was able to relax in the quietness as I read books.

Energy Saving Thermostat turns off the lights and resets the tv after 20 minutes. Don’t try sitting and reading a book, or laying in bed and watching a movie here. Well maybe you could but be sure to wave your arms every 15 minutes or the lights will shut off and the TV will reset itself. Annoyed by this (and trying to read) I called the front desk to see if this could be changed, NOPE! That’s the way it is, if you don’t like it, stay somewhere else. Add street/freeway noise, less then helpful staff, uncomfortable pillows, and not being able to pick your room on the app when you check in and you’ve got this place. The only thing I liked here was the ice machine, it works, and dispenses flakey ice instead of lumps, I give it one star for that and another star for my room being clean and ready when I checked in.
Daily Mandatory Charge includes: California Tourism Assessment.

We needed a safe, affordable place to stop over to break up the long drive from Yosemite to wine country. We were concerned about safety after reading reviews of some of the other spots we considered, so we were very pleased to find this property in what seems like a fairly new residential/commercial development. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, but did advise us to bring all valuables into our room (including a bike). The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the breakfast bar was above average -- fresh hot scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, and waffle machines, among other more standard items. Would definitely recommend.

JJIAYINGAt the check-in, I will send hot biscuits to eat. The children like it very much. The hardware facilities are also very good. It is suitable for coming out from Yosemite and staying in San Francisco. It is much cheaper than San Francisco hotels, and it is close to San Francisco. Day trip. Here, Yosemite, the online Raiders evaluation is very high, but if you have been to many scenic spots in China, I suggest not to come to Yosemite, there is no national park to watch, I arranged a day in the itinerary. It took a lot of time to do the Raiders, but when you come here, you will find that this is a place where people around the city have no place to go on weekends, and there is a place to play with children. You just go to a Xinjiang, Tibet, and kill it here.
GGuest UserThe towels were very rough and hard and made we want to use my own clothes to dry off. The parking lots were dirty, had trash and oil puddles all over them and the hotel is in a shady area right next to a train that kept me up all night and shook the room as it passed and honked. The walls are so thin I could hear my neighbor conversing very clearly and the people above me were stomping around upstairs. The water pressure in the shower is very poor and feels like a trickle down my back, I went through all the water settings and they didn't help at all.
IiNdOe SmOkEThis hotel is wonderful. They have breakfast that's so good, you won't have to spend any extra money to feed yourself and whoever you're with. The biscuits and gravy that they serve are to die for and eggs and sausage as well as pancake machine that makes these tiny little pancakes there are so good they also have 3 different kinds of cereal and a selection of juices as well as oatmeal and toast and muffins.
MmelsA2898JOI stay here frequently probably 4-5 days a month. I have worked for hotels previously as well and I get having to be strict with policy's but the front desk girl with glasses is the absolute worst. She has a seriously personal issue with me and it's very apparent. First time i stayed here: I go into I was told the reservation was not paid for in advance like Choice said. So I try to pay with my debit card and they only take cards with chips. So it's over 100 degrees so I'm a little annoyed by having to run around. But I get back and she proceeds to tell me ”you can just leave if you don't like rules” and ”I can cancel your reservation” I told her no and it wasn't a problem I was just exhausted and frustrated with being told two different things. Second stay: We booked for a total of 10 days I believe. Stay wasn't a issue until the day before check out. I'm at work same woman calls and says we aren't extending anyone past 5 days anymore and we need to get our stuff by 11am it was 10:15 or so. So I have to rush back and remove our stuff. I still manage to keep my composure. Third stay: I was checking out after 2 days and I wasn't aware I got some make up on one of their towels. I was checking out around 7am I went down and with most places if you leave a cash deposit they check your room. So she goes does that and takes about 15 mins but again I'm trying to be patient. She comes down with the towel in her hand opens it in front of guests and says ”what's this” I said my apologies I didn't even realize I had gotten the towel dirty as I always being my own. But she then charges me $25 and I still say no problem (rules are rules” Fourth and Final stay I book 2 days. I check in and was told by the nice front desk woman (Asian and great at her job) that hotel policy had changed and they aren't doing cash anymore. But since I stay here often this time wont be an issue but to remember for next time. No problem I say. Choice had made two separate reservations for each day so I could get my free night since I use them almost every weekend. So Saturday morning at 10:30am I proceed to front desk to pay for the second night. The girl with glasses is there so I am prepared and smiling. She then tells me that she isn't taking cash so I explain to her what the woman told me the night before. She said she is wrong it was only for the stay on Saturday not Sunday and she will give me until noon to leave. I then had hit my limit with her condescending, power trip, snarky attitude. I said let me make a call. I call choice and they are very apologetic and book me elsewhere for a free night. I go down to check out and could barely speak I was so furious. I keep everything to one word answers. I said ”checkin out” she smiles and says ”so would you like for me to cancel your reservation” I said ”yes” I give her my ID she does her usual 15 min room check. She then tells me to have a great day in a tone that would boil anyone's blood. I refuse to let this wo
I stay at these rooms frequently they are my number one choice. Rooms are super clean and they have a balcony ! Very family friendly and in a very nice area. Everything around the room is very convenient such as gas stations & fast foods. They are very affordable! Staff are very friendly and helpful !!!! I would 100% recommend staying at the Days inn !
AAburd88So I booked this after having car issues it was my 4th night straight in motel 6 but first niye in Modesto. Upon arriving it took 45 more min to get our room cleaned, in which time 3 homeless approached me one of them.physically picking up my dog (thank god she didn't bite her) and running saying im going to steal ur dog if u leave her alone??? *** then around 5 we were going to go get some food. We got it too go and came straight back around 545 when walking in homeless and drug deals going down in the gated ”customers only” parking lot that apparently motel 6 doesnt enforce and the gate was never locked. The homeless lady who wants to steal my dog and follow us around tells us ”to keep our asses in our rooms now” we shouldnt come out for the rest of the night? So we never even brought clothes in to change never were able to go get my asthma rescue inhaler or the games we were going to play, we just had to.lay here me fighting to breathe and listen to.the slamming doors all night of ppl going outside for 5 min then coming back in. Ppl yelling and sketchy stuff all night. Its 730 am.and I cant wait to b able to.lv my room and get my inhaler. Its like im paying to b a prisoner...im waiting for that lady to come knock on my door and tell me I can come out. I just can't wait to get out of here...its stressful driving a car with issues but staying at motel 6 was just as stressful if not worse that I reported this to motel 6 and nothing was done and I just paid motel 6 $75 to struggle breathing all night and b harassed by homeless people. On the up.note if ur a drug addict on a trip come here all of them in modesto.are in this motel 6 downtown. No need to withdrawal on a vacation just come here. I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE ESPECIALLY IF U DRIVE A NICE CAR OR HV KIDS TO NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER STAY HERE. LIKE DONT EVEN CONSIDER IT. THIS.HOTEL IS.FOR.JUNKIES AND HOMELESS....DONT DO IT of course unless ur a junkie like i said then u will hv a great time here.
