we had an amazing time staying at the Delphin habib hotel , big shoutout to the animation team ( choco , hassan and Amir in particular) as they made us feel so welcoming and we’re unbelievably friendly . The receptionists and cleaners are also really friendly and helpful , zizou the trip organiser was also very nice to us and made it easy for us to book trips at a reasonably cheap price . The food is very authentic and mediterranean not very good for fussy eaters as they have no plain options like chips and nuggets however the restaurant on site ( the view ) is lovely food for a very good price. The only down side to this hotel is how long you have to wait for beach towels if you do not bring your own but all in all I would definitely recommend staying here if your visiting Tunisia, the hotel rooms are clean , the staff are all kind and welcoming and it is a beautiful country to visit.

Massive hotel with 618 rooms, fresh and sea water pools and its own beach. Stayed here for two nights at the end of a small-group tour of Tunisia. Friendly helpful staff. Large rooms with all mod cons. Huge choice of food at breakfast and (buffet) dinner.

Great Vacation come with a great hotel, what a holiday! Amazing place and amazing people great room and a quality service! Hoping to come back and enjoy this beautiful country once again and this time with more days to stay! What a trip man!!!

Lovely hotel with fantastic facilities from multiple bars to two pools. Right on a small private beach. The entertainment in the evening was different every night and quite enjoyable. The lobby is clean with again it’s own bar and staff are very helpful. Rooms were cleaned every day to a high standard with new towels every time however a ‘do not disturb sign’ isn’t available in every room and probably should be as there were a few times we were still asleep when the maids came in however they were extremely friendly and happy to come back later/next day. The rooms are slightly outdated but this wasn’t an issue at all. The restaurant has a variety of food and is a decent size the only slight issue is there is a bit of queuing required for popular items such as meat, pizza etc. pools are maintained to a goo standard with multiple life guards and they each have their own snack bar which was a pleasant addition alongside many sun beds. The pools were also used a source of entertainment as activities such as Zumba, water polo/volleyball were often taking place. The Wi-Fi only works in certain places but this was expected as the hotel is a significantly large building. The staff have been absolutely excellent and have really surprised us they are genuinely such a lovely bunch of people who are happy to help and go the extra mile. All in all a very lovely holiday down to the staff and facilities. Would definitely recommend

Definitely not a 5* but can’t fault it too much, the hotel was clean, staff were all friendly and welcoming - especially bar/ waiting on staff. Animation team were absolutely brilliant with us the whole time we were there. Always very cheerful and fun doing pool activities and getting involved with the guests. Only 1 problem with the staff was the guy who took our luggage of us, seemingly can’t of give him a good enough tip for then on he was rude towards us spoke to everyone else but not to us even when spoken too. Which was a shame because tips shouldn’t determine how you should treat someone. Bed & pillows were very comfy, the room was a good size plenty of space. We had a view facing the beach which was a nice view especially watching the sunrise in the morning - only problem was the noise at night time was very noisy especially on weekends could do with some better doors to block the noise the out. The handle to our balcony door was broken. Food was good, lots of different choices but was same throughout all week apart from Saturday, got a little sick of eating the same things. Puddings were great. Good location for the hotel, beach right opposite the hotel, lots of shops and restaurants close by within walking distance everyone even in the shops were welcoming and friendly. Pool area was good a nice big pool and big selection of sun lounges ( you have to go early to get a decent sun lounger) chilled music played throughout the day in pool area which was nice and relaxing. Lots of shade for when you get too warm in the sun. Although we didn’t have housekeeping in our room they were more than happy to help when we needed. Very friendly always got a good morning and good afternoon of them.

Monastir has a beautiful view. The castle on the slopes is a bird's eye view of the curved beaches and piers filled with hundreds of yachts and sailboats. A few hundred meters from the castle to the city center is the Medina surrounded by the ancient city walls. Our Marina Cap Monastir-Apart’hotel is located on the other side of the castle castle. From the door of the room, you can see the light blue and white boats and masts in the levee. At the outermost end of the levee, there are three lighthouses of different colors, which play the role of finishing touches, making the picturesque scenery more perfect. The hotel and other hotels are white-walled blue window doors that look beautiful and elegant against the blue sea and blue sky. Although it is located at the pier, the hotel is safer and the traffic passes through the security checkpoint. The security guard of the office proposed to get on the bus to the hotel and take us to the lobby. Then, go back. Say you want to tip, but you can't come out; say you want to help, there is no smile from beginning to end; say security, he will not let go when he walks in other cars... In short, some are puzzling. Hotel facilities are good, but there are kettles and toasters better; WIFI is not strong enough, the room and room are different; there is a range hood, but the effect is not enough, even if the soup, the fragrance is mostly left in the room. On the top of the city, there is a big castle,which has a birds eye view of the port where there are hundreds of yachts and sailing ships. several hundred meters away from the castle, there is Medina Marina Cap Monastir-Apart'hotel is located in the port, which is downhill of the castle. From the Apartment, we can see the yachts and ships, with the colors of white and baby-blue, And three light-houses standing on the dykes, which makes the view perfect.

The hotel is a very fine one. Yes, it has its mistakes and shortcomings (I have read the one star reviews before) but you simply cannot except much more for this price and location. + : Staff is super friendly and understanding with kids (except for 1 person). There is a lot of folks working there! Really a lot.. Amazing amount of workforce.. Never seen before in Europe that much people working in hotel. Pools are as good as on the photos. Beds are excellent. Food is constantly available. Food for kids is even more constantly available :) For diners you can get away from the crowd by booking for the 'special' diners . Same kitchen, same taste, you don't get to choose from dozens of food, you get what they prepare, but there is no crowd. Simple tradeoff. We were in a suite w sea view - it was ok, first room on the corridor, we had like 90 degrees view. -: There are mosquitos. Not a lot, but red haired white skinned kids can suffer a bit from them. The hotel is applying gas to control the mosquito population but additionaly nets would be nice on the terrace doors. Food is what you can get when there are hundreds of people on all inclusive. That simply requieres a food factory. There was no food of dubious quality, sometimes the tastes were not to our liking, yet you trully have a wide range of dishes to choose from. So it wasn't a fine dining experience but it was totally ok and sometimes even more. Drinks are not the best. The all inclusice includes wines and beer which we tried only once and opted for the extras after that (bottled beer and wine from the a la carte menu). But it was not expensive at all so even if you are a bit pricky, like we were, you won't have to spend a lot. The half day camel riding program is a disaster. They take you to the outskirts of the next town where is a LOT of rubbish everywhere. It was like touring in a garbage dump. Outside the hotel the country is, well, not too nice. Garbage heaps, garbage, shredding and flaking plastic, and some more garbage. :( Unfinished buildings, half demolished buildings, etc. So the hotel is like a totally different world. The sea and the pools were a bit cold in mid June. A bit. Good between 11 and 4, not particularly inviting when the sun was otherwise not shone strongly. The sand on the beach on one hand is superb, yet there is some debris from construction! Pieces of broken brick. But not covered with it, only some. The so called amusement programmes are tooo loud. We were running away from it every time it started, they turned up the bass and played some techno - but we are a family prefering quite environment. Also there was a part of the evening program that was meant to be entertaining, but it was very very strong for us - the joke was that a male member of the staff dressed up as a woman, and they called 4 ladies on stage who had to walk and look sexy, etc. But again - you don't have to go there. The hotel itself is a bit tired but the staff really are what makes it. They are attentive and jolly (one member of the bar staff was miserable the whole duration - might be in the wrong profession?!). The food is acceptable. It lacks seasoning and flavour but it does of course need to cater to as many palettes as possible. If you like flavour, take your own condiments (I hesrd the ketchup was rubbish but didn't try it perdonslly). The food is also a bit repetitive largely consisting of grilled meat (beef, turkey, quail) and fish, stewed lamb, chicken and beef, potatoes (mashed, sautéed), chips/fries, grilled vegetables (courgettes, carrots, squash, tomatoes, okra), pasta and pizza, soup. There was also a variety of different salads and bread (which always seemed stale to me). At breakfast there is no bacon! There are omelettes, fried and poached eggs cooked to order. The omelettes were delicious. There was also grilled vegetables, beans (not the baked beans us Brits know and love), grilled frankfurters, pancakes, pastries, fruit, yoghurt and museli, fresh juice and tea and coffees. Our waiter, Salah, was great. He kept us topped up with drinks and made sure we had everything we needed. He was always smiling and welcoming when he saw us head over to the tables and it made us feel like special guests to receive his superb service. The rooms are spacious, but despite requesting a double garden view room we were given a room overlooking the car park and two single beds pushed together. The pillows were not comfortable - a bit too hard and thick for me. Plenty of storage space but very few hangers. A wash and ironing service can be provided at additional cost. Tea and coffee making facilities are available but we didn't make use. The tea wasn't great so take your own teabags. The bathroom is huge, equipped with a bath and shower overhead. the shower was always warm but not high pressured, though did a good enough job for washing my hair and rinsing out sand, shampoo etc. Our bath didn't drain well and took a while so no showers in quick succession. The hairdryer in the bathroom is terrible - I never managed to fully dry my hair with it. Do take your own. There is a vanity table and mirror in the room but I found the lighting at night too dark to do my makeup. the bathroom was better lit. Drinks are ok. Beer is a 3% local and red wine a 13% local drop. The white wine tastes like vinegar so we avoided that after the first glass or two. Cocktails are strong but very sweet. They have Coca Cola and other local soft drinks poured from bottles so can be a little flat. All drinks are served in tiny glasses/paper cups, some people had taken their own (pint) glass out with them and the bar staff did fill them. The entertainment wasn't our cup of tea - karaoke, quiz, live music, drag show. unfortunately it was too chilly to sit outside so we were confined to drinking in the lobby where the entertainment was on, so we were largely subjected to
