Pure Monchique Hotel - Villa Termal Spa Resort - by Unlock Hotels

Hello, I have just left the Monchique hotel, and I need attention to this complaint, I chose to spend the carnival holiday in a resort resting and I paid for it, we can't even call this place a resort and spa, we couldn't at least go to a swimming pool because it was disabled and dirty. The resort's restaurant served us the same dish for lunch and dinner every day, the same food and poor service. If the problem is not resolved here I will look for my rights, attached is the beautiful paper they offer us at check-in, but they don't say that any of this works. I spent money, I ate badly, I didn't relax, and I walked 300 km to do it

The room and the hotel were not like the pictures on the page. There were also insects in the room, which we complained about several times without anything happening. If it wasn't for the fact that it was full all over, we would have switched.

We liked the surroundings and the tranquility of the hotel.

The hotel is pretty good. Spacious, clean rooms, with a fairly large and comfortable bed. The spacious bathroom, perfectly equipped and clean. It has air conditioning and television. In addition, the room they gave us had a terrace with a table and chairs, which although the views were nothing out of this world, was appreciated. The problem is that the room was separated from another adjoining room by a thin metal door, and you could hear everything from the neighbors. The staff treatment was very good. However, it must be said that the hotel, at least when we have been there, does not have a bar, nor a restaurant, much less a swimming pool. I explain it. The hotel is located in the “Caldas de Monchique”, and if you stay there, like the rest of the hotels in the area, they give you access to the pool in the area, as well as the restaurant/ bar, which is not in the hotel, but you have to go out to a small square nearby, where the bar/restaurant is, which is the one used even for breakfast. All this is very uncomfortable, because for everything, you have to leave the hotel. In addition, the outdoor pool is very small, about 15*15 m, so to serve all the guests in the area, it is very small, as is the number of seats and spaces for them, which is minimal. If you want to use the hotel to rest and go to Monchique, it is a good choice, but if on the contrary, you want to rest in the pool, have food and the room, it is a real hassle.

Rather pleasant place but the quality of service not at all at the level of a 4 star - Quality of products served very low (breakfast) - Catastrophic room isolation (possibility of participating in the conversation of the neighboring room) Faulty air conditioning - Room access card not functional - Lots of imperfections for a 4 star - quality of service not up to the so-called standard.

After 3 hours of traveling from Lisbon, we asked for water at the check in reception, they said there was none, only in the room... Apart from how rude they spoke to us.... There is no parking on the street.... no one to help with our bags... We asked for the bathroom plug, waiting until today... Reception staff unprepared... Coffee staff is excellent
