Vila Foia is a stunning place with amazing views. Comfortably equipped spacious room with a big balcony facing the valley. Not to forget the jacuzzi and the pool. The staff is friendly and helpful. Also great wedding location (talking from experience of a wedding guest 😀)

VilaFoia ist wunderschön gelegen und ein sehr, sehr schönes und ruhiges Hotel mit einer tollen und gepflegten Hotelanlage. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes und großes Zimmer mit Terrasse und einem phantastischen Blick bis Portimao und der Küste. Sowohl die Inhaber als auch alle Mitarbeiter sind ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders nett fanden wir den jungen Mann im Frühstücksservice. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet und kann auf der Terrasse mit Blick in die Natur und auf die Küste eingenommen werden. VilaFoia können wir nur wärmstens empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren im Februar 2024 für zwei Nächte in der Vilafoia und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
Die Unterkunft liegt etwas außerhalb des Stadtzentrums und für die meisten Unternehmungen benötigt man ein Auto.
Die Außenanlage ist sehr schön hergerichtet mit einem Pool und vielen Liegemöglichkeiten. Der Ausblick ist fantastisch.
Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit und es gab über einen Link sehr viele hilfreiche Informationen (zB zu Restaurants). Das stach deutlich heraus.
Das frühstücksbuffett ist frisch und enthält alles, was man benötigt.
Einziger Minuspunkt ist, dass die Zimmer sehr hellhörig sind. Als wir dort waren, war es sehr leer, aber man hat die Gäste im Nebenzimmer deutlich gehört, wenn sie sich unterhalten haben.
Insgesamt aber wirklich empfehlenswert.

Het hotel is prachtig ingebed op een helling van een heuvel in Monchique. Wij hadden1 van de 2 studio's bovenop de helling. Bij aankomst werden we zeer enthousiast ontvangen en kregen we meteen gratis badjassen ter beschikking voor de jacuzzi. De studio is zeer ruim. Ontbijt is uitgebreid. Maar het is vooral de ligging en de vriendelijke bediening die dit hotel absoluut de moeite waard maken.

L’accès à l’hôtel grâce aux instructions et à la signalétique a été grandement facilitée.
Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis, l’ensemble des indications nous a été fournie. Nous avons la chance de bénéficier d’un surclassement. La vue d’ensemble de la vallée est très agréable. Le petit déjeuner est personnalisé. La baignoire est d’une taille parfaite pour s’allonger.
