Very nice details in the room, like the sink and tiles with motives from Yosemite. Same with furniture.
Unfortunately we did not receive the room that was pictured while booking.
No wifi in the room, only around the reception area. No AC albeit very hot days.
No breakfast available during the season.

I choose this place based on location since it was conveniently located near the Tioga Pass entrance. There aren’t a lot of options available in this area. This lodge is landscaped beautifully but doesn’t offer much in amenities. Check in is at 4:00. I arrived at 3:30 and was told I needed to come back at 4:00. No worries, we went to Whoa Nellies Deli and got a bite to eat. The room was fine, no frills. Just a basic room with 2 queen beds. They offer a military discount which was nice and they thanked me for my service which I appreciated. The room cost $250 for the night, quite steep, but you are paying for the location. Mono Market is close by for snacks and drinks, Whoa Nellie Deli which is located in the Mobil has good hot food choices. And Latte Da Coffee has delicious breakfast food and coffee. Mono Lake is near by along with several other lakes you can hike to. Bring bug spray because the mosquitoes are no joke!

Our family repeatedly chooses Mammoth Mountain Inn for our accommodation when traveling to Mammoth. Not only is it conveniently located, ski in/ski out, to chair one at Main Lodge, but the Inn offers amazing amenities including a rustic ski lodge experience with friendly service meeting needs promptly. The general store is convenient for gourmet coffee and varies sundries and quick snacks. There is also a rental shop with very helpful employees. Perhaps what I most appreciate, besides the friendly conversations with staff, is the upstairs restaurant and bar. The food is so amazing as they hire cutting edge chefs. In fact, we rarely venture into town to eat because of our enjoyable dining experience. This is why I, my husband, and two teenage sons will continue to book our reservations at the Mammoth Mountain Inn.

Hotel facilities are quite complete, everything is oven, pots and knives! The room was clean and tidy, because it was a suite, it was very large and there was a balcony with a view! The only regret is that the swimming pool is being repaired and there is no way to swim! The location is a little far away, around 9 o'clock, the nearby shops are closed!

Flawless service from everyone on staff, and unmatched views from the rooms. We were welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine and a smile by Jiri, and our visit maintained that level of luxury throughout. Suffice it to say, we cannot wait to return and indulge in the richness of this amazing hotel.

Because it is going to go to Yosemite from Las Vegas, so the hotel is scheduled to be halfway to this hotel. This is a small town like the Changbai Mountain Wanda Resort in China. There are many hotels and restaurants. The hotel is also the best facility in all MOTELs on the 8th of the United States. It is also convenient to make accommodations. As long as the passport is given to the service desk, it is good to say CHICK IN. Just wait for the key to stay at the hotel. The next day, 6 days, the room card will be given. Timing is everything, so I guess it was off when I stayed here. I was attracted by the website advertising how quiet and comfy it was. The construction in the lot made it very noisy by day and the guests in the next room made it noisy by night. Comfy wasn’t working for me either with the heater being out due to the construction cutting the power, this was explained to me by management and they would be by later to bring a heater. So I tried the jacuzzi to warm up but it was too cold. The location in town and the free parking were the two best parts. Not planning on a return visit.

From the moment we arrived for our stay we were greeted by professional and friendly staff. Jess was so helpful and made our stay awesome from the time she checked us into our room. I highly recommend the double connecting rooms for families and it was clean, nice and newly remodeled it seemed and perfect for us and our 3 young children. I have to say we made an instant friend in Paul as well. Superior service and as my kids now say he is their new friend! Thank you for your amazing hospitality and all that you and your team did to go out of your way and make a trip one we won’t forget! Highly recommend to anyone staying in the Mammoth area to check out this place. Friendly hospitality and great people are what make up the charm of a hotel in my opinion and this place did not disappoint.

We actually stayed in January 2022 but it would not let me select that date. This inn was simple, no frills, but we didn’t really need any. Just needed somewhere clean and safe that didn’t cost and arm and a leg, just somewhere to lay our heads after skiing. Only the most simple rooms were available as week booked pretty close to the trip date, but on the morning of our check out we saw some of the suites/larger rooms available as they were being cleaned and they looked really cool. My main issue was them not having a microwave in the room. This is just a basic element that all hotels should and usually do have. Especially if you are going to have a mini fridge where you might stash left overs, you should have a microwave. Or what if you just want to reheat your coffee? If they could make that simple upgrade I think all their guests would appreciate. Otherwise I had not complaints about our stay. It was warm, clean, and quiet. Great inexpensive stay.

CClémentVery nice motel on the edge of Yosemite Park. The area is very pretty, between the mountains and the nearby Mono Basin. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. A restaurant is also not too far away if needed, so it's very convenient. The hosts were very welcoming and invited us around a campfire! Tired from a lot of driving, we weren't able to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. But it was a very, very pleasant experience!

GGuest UserI will never stay anywhere else in Mammoth with my family. I was stunned by how beautiful and well taken care of the property is. The staff are all extremely professional and very helpful. It is obvious that this property has an amazing management team. Very very clean, from the rooms to the pool and grill area, absolutely spotless. We where able to meet the general manager Sergio when we checked in and he was so welcoming, he took time to say hello to the whole family and made sure if we needed anything to let him know. It turned out I did need his assistance a few days later when our Tahoe plans fell through. Even with the property at capacity and a last minute request…..Sergio made some moves and saved our last 3 days of vacation. Thank you Sergio and please thank your entire team!

GGuest UserThis place did not feel like a hostel more like you were staying in someone’s home. Plenty of free parking and walking distance from the village. Great location and one of the lowest priced accommodations you can find in Mammoth. I’ve stayed at other higher priced locations that were not as nice. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms.

SSHUPINGVery good old hotel, it is a good place to go from Yosemite to Las Vegas. However, time is optimistic, 120 roads are closed from November to May. The hotel has a lot of breakfast, the rooms are large, there are swimming pools and hot springs, but the time is tight and there is no enjoyment.
