Much better than expected, the room thief is bigger. It's a bit humid. I thought there would be bugs in such a good natural environment, but it turned out to be very clean. It was cold at night at the foot of Yosemite Mountain. On the way to the hotel, I passed Mono Lake, which was very beautiful. The hotel is by the lake.

We loved staying at this place! Had a 2 bed suite, which was very well priced compared to similar accommodations nearer the east park entrance. Clean, cosy quiet room with exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable staff and felt really at home. I used the sauna and it was so relaxing. Jacuzzi overlooks the town in a great spot too! The Mexican across rage road was fantastic (my husband said it was the best burger he’d ever tasted!) and show your room key for 10% off here. Overall great place to stay.

WWeiguangI booked the hotel by mistake, thinking it was very close to Yosemite Park, but it was actually very far. This town is actually a famous ski resort in California. The town is quiet and safe, and the surrounding area is Highway 359, the best route to enjoy autumn in California.
The service in the hotel is very good and the girls at the front desk are kind and kind. What also surprised me was that the food in the hotel was great! Be it breakfast or dinner. The overall environment of the hotel is also better and cleaner. The only drawback is that the bed is a bit uncomfortable, everything else is great
GGuest UserThe resort was around a 10 minute drive to the nearest supermarket, and a 5 minute drive to the nearest restaurant. The room was outdated and could be renovated given its price. Staff are friendly.
Serene, beautiful and peaceful w/ an amazing staff running the place, Tamarak Lodge is unmatched in places to stay. Have to give a big shout out to Micheal at the front desk who was an enthusiastic help in making us feel at home, as well as assisting in places to see in the surrounding area. Michael at one point pulled over in his car in the lot (on his break) and helped us find our way to a trail. Maura (spelled differently) was also extremely friendly and helpful. What a place ! WOW great job Tamarak Lodge for hiring such great people
DdioforrioWe actually stayed in January 2022 but it would not let me select that date. This inn was simple, no frills, but we didn’t really need any. Just needed somewhere clean and safe that didn’t cost and arm and a leg, just somewhere to lay our heads after skiing. Only the most simple rooms were available as week booked pretty close to the trip date, but on the morning of our check out we saw some of the suites/larger rooms available as they were being cleaned and they looked really cool. My main issue was them not having a microwave in the room. This is just a basic element that all hotels should and usually do have. Especially if you are going to have a mini fridge where you might stash left overs, you should have a microwave. Or what if you just want to reheat your coffee? If they could make that simple upgrade I think all their guests would appreciate. Otherwise I had not complaints about our stay. It was warm, clean, and quiet. Great inexpensive stay.
We needed a room with three beds so the Edelweiss sufficed!. The room was sparsely furnished with minimal equipment, for instance no chairs to sit on, and no racks for your suitcases. I think this place was built many years ago, and though clean, it sure hasn't been updated. And it isn't cheap. The cable tv service is terrible and the beds are old ticking mattresses on open coil springs which make a racket everytime you turn over. I wouldn't stay here again for the money, but it would be okay if you like rustic.
GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel for one night. Mountain hotel that really has its charm!
The room was spacious and very comfortable.
A little badly soundproofed but I have the impression that it is that in all mountain hotels.
Bathroom a bit small though.
The swimming pool and jacuzzi are open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

RR_BananasStayed here last year. When I arrived the owner told me he couldn't find my reservation - strange I thought to myself - so I returned to my car to get the paperwork. When I presented evidence of my reservation he blamed me for giving him the wrong name... He said this in a rude way, I'm quite patient so I didn't respond to his aggressive approach. I can only assume that he did this to either try to say there were no vacancies or to try and charge me more. The room itself was basic. The taps didn't work properly and everything was very run down. The next morning, the owner was having an argument outside our door with another resident who was complaining that his toilet wouldn't flush properly and the shower wasn't working. The owner was being very rude and blaming the customer, the customer sounded incredulous with some of his excuses It sounded close to coming to blows. We had breakfast the next morning, very basic and the muffins and other baked products tasted stale. The breakfast was served by a young girl possibly the owners daughter. We didn't have breakfast the next morning. We were glad to leave the Rodeway, it is one of the worst places we have ever stayed. On top of that the owner was rude and unpleasant.
BBred肖As the best choice for Vegas to Yosemite and San Francisco, because other hotels are not too expensive or too broken, the overall clean and refreshing, simple facilities, the front desk lady is very nice and friendly, plus points
