El Morro Eco Adventure Hotel

Parking was easy and secure and we did reach the national park, which was a nice walk from the hotel.

I understand it's an eco-friendly hotel but finding 3 very large roaches in my bathroom our first night was shocking. The worst part was that since it was around 11pm there was no staff until the next day to get is another room. My wife did not want to sleep in that room so we had to go hunt for another hotel at midnight. Since this is a small town practically all hotels had no staff working at that time so we could not get a room anywhere and had to return to this hotel and make do. The next day we spoke at front desk and they said they were fully booked and had no other room to give us. They did perform a thorough cleaning of the room since we would have to stay there the second night. Unfortunately again we had roaches the second night as well. We complained to the manager but she said there wasn't much she could do due to the hotel's location and the time of year when roach presence increases. She first offered us a free dessert or a glass of wine.......as if that would get me back the hours of sleep we lost. After I mentioned I would have to put in a bad review she raised her offer to dinner......same difference. She really didn't seem to be concerned about us or the situation. However the staff was the opposite, they all went out of their way to help remedy the situation and make us feel better. In the end, aside from the hotel staff, we are quite upset over this experience. Disgusting roaches in our bathroom, lost hours of sleep, and an unapologetic hotel manager.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It offers free parking and free breakfast, which was very convenient. The location was great, close to attractions and activities (animators). The room was quiet, there was no noise at night, and the bed was very comfortable. I experience a plus that it rain the night I stayed and I was able to hear the raindrops (amazing experience) I would definitely stay here again.

The national park was so close! Everything about the property was fantastic, shout out to Mr.Santiago for making the best drinks! Everyone was very attentive I would love to go back for a longer stay. Only stayed for one night to check it out and I was not disappointed!!!

Everything from location to room to service was excellent! Loved it! Will return.

The hotel is conveniently located between el Morro and el Malecon. Walkable to restaurants and to boat tours. Everything that the hotel offered was excellent. The staff were great. The pool was great and the rooms were spacious with all amenities.

Room needed a little more cleaning. Staff very nice and excellent service. We did not visit the national park and did not get in the pool

We tried several times to reschedule the trip since we booked the wrong dates by accident. But nor ******* or the hotel would help therefore with the type of customer service received by ******* and the hotel i will no longer use ******* or the hotel

The pictures doesn’t match with why you see when you get there? The pool area it looks abandoned and the pool water doesn’t make you wanting to go in.
