L'albero è davvero affascinante e il personale molto cortese e disponibile. Peccato per gli altri ospiti davvero maleducati nelle ore notturne, senza alcun rispetto per gli altri... Corse nei corridoi, sbattimenti di porte, di prima mattina dei rumori erano così forti che sembrava che stessero smontando una stanza, per non tralasciare il continuo strisciamento di sedie dal livello inferiore per le colazioni. Tuttavia le stanze sono molto eleganti e pulite, calcolando che non ho avuto problemi di allergia nonostante ci fosse per terra la moquette. Solo i muri forse avrebbero bisogno di una rinfrescata, avendo in alcuni punti ben nascosti la pittura rovinata e crepata.

È una dimora storica, vi prego non giudicare questo diamante secondo gli standard odierni. Aspettatevi di restare stupiti dalla bellezza della storia, dalla non perfezione come sinonimo di genuinità. La camera trasudava bellezza e arte. Il personale tutto è gentile, professionale e accogliente. Andate al quarto piano e scendete per le scale a visitare tutte le sale piene di quadri, busti e libri. Spezzo una lancia al personale che si occupa delle pulizie che mantengono tutti i pavimenti ( anche quelli in legno antico) in condizioni eccellenti. Colazione davvero buona ( PS: visitate le antiche cucine è una sala deliziosa)

L'hotel non è dei più moderni, ma la location è ottimale, il ristorante ottimo, la colazione ha una buona scelta di prodotti di ottima qualità ma la ciliegina sulla torta è lo staff! Tutti, dalla reception al ristorante, passando per le cameriere ai piani hanno sempre un sorriso ed una parola gentile per tutti! Ci siamo trovati molto bene!

Loved the hotel, food and restaurant. Service was wonderful, front desk outstanding, bar service was great. I would have felt more comfortable if there were smoke alarms in the rooms and in the hallways. I know there is an alarm bell in the hall but don't feel it's sufficient.

I hd t spend a day in my room because I was not feeling well. It would be nice to have a comfortable chair to sit in, not just the straight back ones.
