Stanza molto deludente..dalle foto viste mi hanno assegnato una tripla per una quadrupla..soffitti bassi e finestra nascosta..senzo claustrofobico..tende oscuranti che coprivano del tutto il termosifone,quindi dovevo scegliere se dormire con il calore o con la luce esterna..bagno immenso con doccia grandissima ma tutto decadente..umidità alle pareti e finestre rovinate..rubinetteria ridotta male,il soffione fisso della doccia aveva alcuni buchi attappati perché pieno di calcare..c era solo un appendino per il telo grande,per gli altri asciugamani niente..sopra le porte tanta polvere e ragnatele..unico piano d’appoggio una scrivania,peccato che sopra c era una tv che la occupava tutta..nessun appendiabiti,se non l’interno dell’armadio,per fortuna c’erano 4 sedie..speravo che essendo moderno ci fosse un po’ di accuratezza..colazione nella media (apparte le torte un po’ secche) Nota positiva personale cordiale e gentile

This was the first time I have travelled to Italy with Caledonian travel and I was hugely disappointed. I recently stayed at the hotel Montebello and unfortunately my experience was far from pleasant. We were meant to have drinks on arrival but no one at the hotel knew anything about this, The room was cold and I had to ask for blankets for the beds as they were unable to put the heating on. There wasn’t a kettle or tea making facilities in the room. The food was appalling and the staff were rude.

Quite frankly this has to be one of the terrible hotels I have ever stayed in for food and customer service, the food quite frankly was appalling, we had pork each evening cooked differently with the overcooked veg and greasy potatos, and am surprised that neither the kitchen or management questioned the amount of food uneaten and returned to the kitchen on a daily basis. The older waitress in the dning room was so rude and unhelpful, banging plates down and insistng that you keep your kmife for every course. l have visited Tuscany in the past and loved it. This trip was a gift for my sisters 70th birthday and was a huge disappointment to both of us. The hostility shown to us was totally unacceptable and the only reason I can come to is that we were on the Caledonian tour. I am submitting a seperate complaint to Caledonain Travel

poor service unhelpful staff everything seemed to be a bother for them,food must have been on a budget, worst Hotel i have stayed in, been going to Italy for over twenty years and have always found Italy to be a very friendly and welcoming place this lets it down. went with Caledonian Travel this Hotel was nothing like what was advertised on the web site Evening meal thrown on to the table waitress seem to have a problem with are party most people returned there food when offered something else it was just as bad , Breakfast was no better same every morning no hot food, Bedrooms where cold no heating only offered a blanket by the women at reception who was very rude and give no reason to why there was no heating , don,t know how this can be classed as three star, staff need a lot of customer service training.
