I my son and partner stayed at this hotel for two nights after hurricane Beryl. We could not bare the hot nights at home anymore with no electricity. This is a very basic hotel but we were happy we had A/C and we could charge our phones. The rooms are very basic but large enough and clean. We had the city view, and no microwave which meant we ate all our meals out. There is a shared balcony which gives you full view of the hip *****. You are on the hip ***** so within walking distance to doctors cave beach, shops, restaurants, and lots of entertainment night clubs and coral cliff entertainment centre. Would we stay here again, yes in an emergency, its cheap and cheerful and you get what you pay for.

Do not book this hotel if you expect decent accommodations and friendly service. The owner Karl is rude and will scam and cheat as much money as he can from you. I booked through Airbnb and it is stated in the agreement that there is a $150USD charge if staying pass check out. The wifi wasn’t working and I over stayed by 5min to try and contact my driver. At first, he said it was okay and I made sure to let the front desk staff know. Two weeks later, after leaving a 4/5 star review on his place he wasn’t happy about it. So he decided to charge me $150USD for staying an extra five minutes. I’ve never encountered someone more wicked in my life. Based on other reviews, if you would like to stay at a place where u can have peace of mind if any emergencies or extenuating circumstances come up, don’t stay here cause he will not refund or care about anything.

Roaches. Also I left a few things; and while I was finally able to get some of the items returned, a couple went missing. They tried to tell me housekeeping hadn’t notified them of anything left. When I went back to the property 2days later- the items were indeed still in the shower so the room hadn’t been cleaned.

This is a basic hotel, which is totally fine, but it was hard to get little things like extra towels or shampoo. It’s just very basic so for the price it was fine but there’s zero frills. In a good walking distance to lots of restaurants.
