This is probably the best hotel in town. Good value for the money. Comfortable rooms with strong air conditioner. Nice pool area on roof, with steam room and sauna. Staff are excellent and aim to please. The rooms are a little dark, but this could be fixed with a couple of extra lamps. I am a vegetarian, and Monteria is a very meat-based culture. The first night they had no vegetables (other than onions and peppers) and no avocados. I went the grocery store next to the Hotel, bought some vegetables and the chef gladly cooked and served them.
