Excellent accueil des propriétaires dans un lieu plein d’histoire ! L’emplacement est idéal pour visiter la Toscane ( Sienne, San Giminiano, Volterra, Val d’orcia, …). L’huile et les vins proposés par le château sont excellents. Notre appartement était très confortable … C’est magique d’habiter dans un château ! Bravo également pour les petits déjeuners gourmands et copieux. C’est un lieu a ne pas rater sur la route des vacances !

I cannot say enough good things about this property! It is a family-owned and operated property with an amazing vineyard, olive trees for olive oil, and lots of space to roam and explore. The family that runs the property are so incredibly kind and accommodating! Catarina was phenomenal with her recommendations on places to go and see, along with her favorite restaurants. She also was just a genuinely good person and fun to talk to! We did the wine tour here and loved being able to taste our first Tuscan wines, and even took home some olive oil! Parking was so convenient, the room was lovely and charming with all of the amenities that you need (including automatic shutter closure for blackout "curtains"!). We are so thankful that we stayed here and got to know this amazing family in the area!

Place itself amazing! Castel from 15 century looks stunning and gives you opportunity to be part of the history.
If you like old authentic furniture and history- this place for you.
If you are looking for service and other modern hotels features, look somewhere else.( WiFi you can have).
Otherwise, beautiful views from the windows and great location in the heart of Toskany.

Location bellissima, accolti dai proprietari con cortesia e disponibilità. Camere confortevoli e ben attrezzate. Colazione servita all’ombra della maestosa torre in un angolo fresco e romantico con prodotti della casa e ampia selezione.

Ci siamo fermati una notte perché diretti per lavoro a Siena. Siamo stati accolti in una struttura sobria e curata e da personale gentile e attento. Le camere accoglienti e pulite, la colazione varia e genuina. Torneremo volentieri anche per più giorni.

We had a wonderful stay at Castel Pietraio. The apartment is a little dated but the antique furniture fits with the history of the castle. The rooms in the main building are more modern but keep the feel of the castle. Breakfast was good and plentiful and we ate there 1 evening which was also good. The location is great to explore Tuscany and only 10 minutes from Monteriggioni which has a number of good options for dinner. The stay was made even better by our wonderful host, Caterina, who was so welcoming and informative.

Struttura carina ma non all interno delle mura del paese. Le camere sono belle anche se alcune più rifinite di altre, ma non insonorizzate, veramente troppi rumori. Buona la colazione. Titolare simpatico che spiega all arrivo le caratteristiche del posto ma comunque mi aspettavo molto di più nel rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Bellissima esperienza , cortesia e pulizia sono di casa, location magnifica , sembra immergersi in altri tempi ! Vino spettacolare soprattutto il passito ! Colazione ottima secondo le norme dintorni mozzafiato e giornate splendide . Sicuramente una esperienza da ripetere
