Decaying hotel and installations. Needs repair/retrofit urgent. The room was terrible: dirty and scratched walls, bed seemed to be recently used (although it seemed clean sheets) or was badly made. The bathroom was old and the floor was dirty the whole experience was a nightmare.

Excellent service, facilities, reception, camaraderie, nothing to complain about, 10 points, thank you very much.

Good value for money hotel, very good breakfast. The complimentary afternoon coffee is very poor with few options.

Stayed in the hotel for two weeks. The hotel's location is perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they helped me in everything I needed. The room is comfortable and clean, as well as the whole hotel.

We stayed at the hotel for three nights, the staff was very friendly, very good location in Pocitos. It is close to the beach, they lend beach chairs and umbrellas. Simple breakfast with little variation. But what leaves a lot to be desired is the cleanliness, the decoration/plastic flower on the breakfast tables with a lot of dirt. The furniture in the room would need replacing. The bathroom hygiene was not optimal, we found a cockpit twice. A shame because it is classified with three stars and we are guided by that classification to stay there. We had a good time because of its good location and because it was a short stay. We would not return.

Well located, on a quiet street, close to Pocitos beach, bars, restaurants, shops. We stayed as a family in a very comfortable quadruple room. Nice balcony overlooking the street. Good breakfast but needs a faster table cleaning and replacement service. Excellent service at reception.

I stayed at the Pocitos Plaza Hotel for 3 months, so my experience is vast regarding the service they offer. It was my second time since I went with my daughter in 2018. It is an excellent place in terms of service, quality and very friendly customer service, from getting taxis when it is raining a lot and it is rush hour traffic, to helping me weigh my suitcase when I am not alone. I could carry it. The service is efficient and careful, with a friendly smile always, although everyone is busy all the time. I worked online, and the internet was stable and secure, another important factor. I especially appreciated the professionalism of the administration, with Gervasio, Federico, Fernando, Martina (always drinking mate), Diego and the fabulous Fabian, the kindness in person! All the maids were very helpful, but the best one to prepare and clean the room was Cecilia, whom I hope to see the next time I return to Montevideo. The afternoon tea was always excellent, with a variety of teas and sweets for snacks. A special mention to Lucia's smile in the kitchen. Thank you Pocitos Plaza Hotel!!! I'm going to miss them when I return to Toronto.

The hotel is good and very well located, but for 4 stars I think it leaves a little to be desired. Every day at breakfast I found some poorly washed cutlery. And they take a long time to replace both food and cutlery. The room is clean, spacious and comfortable. They lend bicycles and umbrellas. Differentiator: they offer afternoon tea, 5-7pm.

Privileged location, close to the beach and good restaurants. Good cost-benefit. Spectacular service, especially the reception employee named Frederico. Good breakfast and they offer a complimentary afternoon snack. Great room cleaning service.

I came back after 7 days. More for the location than the hotel. This time I paid half (60dls) on April 8 and 9 and they gave me the room for which I had paid 7 days before (120 dls). That I did not have before and with TV not working. This date, April 16 and 17, room with microwave oven, kettle, coffee, tea and balcony. They gave me late ckeck out without charging me for already having low demand. Cleanliness is still not great. They also leave you an envelope to tip the cleaning lady that I did not have in another hotel on the same dates.
