I had actually booked for the Ibis Styles, which shares a building with the Aparthotel Adagio, but I found when I got there I had been upgraded to the Aparthotel. It looks like it's aimed at someone who is staying for a while and wants to do a bit of self catering, as there was a little kitchenette in the room. While the room was nice and spacious for my purposes, as I was only staying one night, it seems a bit on the small size for something calling itself an "apartment". There was no sofa in the room. But anyway, for me, it did the job just fine. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk away from the train station, which is handy if you're arriving in Montpellier by train (as I was). It's also fairly well placed for the city centre, and there's no shortage of nice places to eat in a few short minutes' walk from the hotel. If you're really desperate, you can eat in the hotel, though the range of food was very limited, and looked like microwave ready meals rather than anything freshly prepared. Breakfast was OK though. Staff were perfectly pleasant and helpful. On the whole, no complaints.

Hotel perfectly located in the city. Close to everything but in a quiet little street. Parking service at 17€/night. Drinks and some dishes offered. Very pleasant apartment, there is a cloth, a sponge, dishwashing liquid and some dishwasher tablets, for those who, like me, were wondering. On the ground floor, there is also a collective kitchen, table football, books and board games. A patio with tables. The bedding is extra firm, personally, it doesn't suit me, but may suit others. As always in this hotel chain, professional and adorable staff, but also always too hot inside.

A young, friendly and responsive team welcomes you 😀. My apartment was ready earlier than expected. Excellent location 3 minutes walk from Place de la Comédie, and its trams, 6 minutes walk from the train station, all shops and Tourist Office nearby. Excellent bedding, good breakfasts. Cleanliness, nothing to complain about. Small kitchen with the essentials to prepare simple meals. Laundry. Small theater for children with stage and small armchairs (great idea!) at the reception, board games, books... Quiet because part of the building is occupied by single elderly people. A few hiccups: hot water and/or cold water problem depending on the apartment. I had to be rehoused. Make sure everything works before you install it. Also problem with keys which demagnetize all the time. Fortunately the staff is responsive.

We booked a family stay through a Tour Operator. At our arrival there were no rooms available. Our Tour Operator told us that the hotel had overbooked (the hotel never acknowledged this). We have not been reimbursed for the costs of this fraudulent practice and have received no apology from the hotel. It is very unpleasant to arrive at a hotel after a long trip and not have the room you paid for.

As always Accor hotels do not disappoint. The apartment is spacious and well equipped for self catering. It is ideally situated close to shops, restaurants and the old town. There is a lovely communal courtyard to relax in as well as a communal lounge area with some games and a kitchen if you want to entertain friends. There is also a laundry which was very welcome after 4 weeks on the road and only hand washing. The staff are friendly and helpful. I don’t often score a 5/5 but this hotel ticks all the boxes.

We stayed at the aparthotel for 4 nights, 2 adults and 1 girl. The location of the hotel could not be better, 2 minutes walk from the Plaza de la Comedia, 7 minutes from the train station. The rooms are quite spacious and well distributed, the bed in the bedroom is large and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, the only thing we lacked was a bottle opener. The breakfast in the cafeteria is correct, varied enough. An important point is the parking, since we came by car and parking in the area in the middle of August would be very complicated. In short, it was a pleasant stay, we have not found any fault.

We went to this Adagio Aparthotel Comédie because the Adagio Aparthotel Access Montpellier – incidentally very welcoming and clean – only had small rooms and recommended that we go to the recently opened Adagio Comédie which had rooms much larger ones available. The person who welcomed us when we arrived told us that this aparthotel was a former establishment for the elderly and that it had been completely renovated to become a red Adagio, therefore 4 stars.... What bad discoveries we then made: - obligation to return the kitchen tidy and cleaned otherwise a cleaning fee charged (a broom was at our disposal but neither brush nor shovel to pick up what the broom picked up and there was no cleaning product in the apartment...), - no welcome bottle of water in the apartment, - €12 to pay if we wanted cleaning done, - same for changing towels, - it is up to us to provide toilet paper (only 1 roll provided) , - no telephone in the apartment (on the small file provided in the apartment it is written to call 9 in case of problem… I tried with my telephone but no one answered!!!), - obligation to remove the bedside table to open the wardrobe door, - unbearable smell in the corridor on the 3rd floor and barely bearable on the 5th where we were (when we pointed this out to reception we were told said that it was an old establishment welcoming the elderly, that the carpet had not been changed but only cleaned, that there were still apartments occupied by elderly residents and that some apartments although renovated were not commendable because of this smell..), - in our supposedly renovated apartment the covering of the corridor was dilapidated and the threshold of the bathroom door was degraded... AND IT WANTS TO BE A 4* APARTHOTEL… For your information, we were in TOULOUSE Adagio Aparthotel Remblas the previous week and not only was everything paid for at Adagio Aparthotel Comédie Montpellier free in TOULOUSE (4* too…!!!) but we also paid less!!! I would add that the location is ideal, right in the center of Montpellier, in "l'escutcheon", and that fortunately there is parking but quite difficult to access!!!
