I strongly advise against it, clearly not up to the standard of other Mercure hotels. The air conditioning doesn't work and the rooms are ovens, no sockets next to the bed, the ceiling in the bathroom very low, holes in the carpet, sunlight coming through the curtains and so on. The only positive point is that the staff is pleasant. Does not deserve its 4 stars, dilapidated establishment.

Old! Dirty! And above all, the staff is extremely unfriendly! Never again... Really bad

The hotel was good. They gave me a room that was a little old and had a very strong smell. They changed my room quickly

The location is great! The staff is pleasant. Small downside, there was hair stuck to the shower ceiling 🤔

Catastrophic: air conditioning that doesn't work, refrigerator broken, no water when I arrived around 4 p.m. .... no manager, only young interns who were trying to do the best by offering free drinks, they were absolutely not shoulders. What a disaster for a 4 star hotel. And the next day upon departure: no excuses presented.

Hotel height, good service, clean room

We had a very good stay. Beautiful room (upgrade), free welcome drink en very friendly and helpful personnel. Montpellier is a very nice city.

As expected

The hotel is very well located, comfortable and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are renovated with wooden floor, but corridors still with old carpets as MERCURE brand that gives the impression of old and not clean, despite of a huge crew cleaning and sanitizing all time against COVID.

The rooms and amenities are great; the staff are congenial and incredibly helpful. (They even cheerfully endured our tortured attempts at French.) It's a wonderful location near the river and the Place de l'Europe, as well as a minute's walk from two key tram lines. The hotel breakfast makes for a terrific start to a day of exploring this marvelous city.
