The transportation of the hotel is very convenient. There is a luxury shopping mall within a 10-minute walk, and an art gallery next to it. The breakfast is delicious. The front desk and bellman service is very good. The room is a bit small and the facilities are a bit old.

If you are looking for the epitome of luxury in Montreal, look no further than the Ritz-Carlton. From the moment I entered the property I was treated with such hospitality and deference. Check-in was smooth. My room was not yet ready so I had brunch at Maison Boulud which is connected to the hotel. The front desk messaged me that my room was ready and I proceeded to a large, grand room on the 11th floor facing Mont Royal. The room was spacious, clean and stocked with luxurious amenities. The service at the hotel was impeccable; no request was too small. Highlights were the amazing buffet breakfasts each morning, the saltwater pool on the top floor, and the Palm court lounge. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains made sleeping a dream. For me, it was their attention to detail: each evening at turndown, a card was left to let me know the forecast for the following day. I came back from a hike up Mont Royal and housekeeping had arranged my shoes in the closet! The hotel offers a pillow menu and the spa treatments are exquisite. Although the hotel was quite busy with guests and with hosting events, it never felt claustrophobic or loud. Overall, the RC Montreal is the finest hotel in Canada and ranks top 5 in the world along with Mandarin Oriental and the Peninsula. I will return!

The service from the moment we stepped through the doors was first class. From arranging a nail appt for myself, somewhere for my husband to watch the soccer and a PT session too, the team couldn’t have been better. Shout out to Veronica, every hotel should have one of her :)
My only critic would be the food wasn’t “incredible”. The burger bun was too thick and dry, we ordered my son a kids burger and were charged the same as an adult, and also the champagne was not cold enough in the main bar (we will it really cold so may be someone’s thing?).
But with so many great food places in Montreal we certainly didn’t starve nor let it take away from the incredible stay we had.

Not only is this the best hotel in Montreal, but it is one of the best Ritz hotels I've ever stayed in the world. Ritz hotels can be pretty hit or miss and this is a big hit. Amazing service. Beautiful lobby. Fantastic room. And a perfect location in the heart of Montreal. Definitely the luxury hotel to stay at. when visiting there.

Das Hotel wirkt von außen etwas alt, was es auch ist. Innen ist das Hotel aber von der Infrastruktur und vom Personal wirklich super. Die Zimmer sind mega, der Service auch. Sehr professionell. Pool am Dach ist toll. Den Preis fanden wir angemessen (der CAN Dollar hilft)... Außer im Restaurant, wo die Preise wirklich hoch sind. Kleine Abstriche macht die Bar, welche von der Qualität der Speisen bis hin zum Personal nicht dem Rest entsprach.

The Ritz-Carlton, Montreal, continues to exceed expectations before, during, and after a stay. My first time in this hotel was seven years ago when I celebrated my now-husband's 40th birthday. We stayed in their Royal Suite, something that we never forgot and will rarely compare to any other stay. This time, we took my sister-in-law for her 40th birthday celebration and were thankful to have done so. The excellent service we received so many years ago is still the best, and we loved interacting with all the Ladies and Gentlemen who assisted us in making this stay extra special. Everyone from the front desk to Palm Court's bar and seating area, Maison Boulud, spa, and pool area was more than friendly and willing to help at all times. We had a chance to experience their afternoon tea in Palm Court, breakfast at Maison Boulud, drinks in the bar area, and massage at their spa. Most importantly, the rooms are more than spacious, and housekeeping always ensures they are attended day and night. All the additional services provided were top-notch, and I recommend them. Also, I want to thank Veronica and Angela for their attention to detail and everything they did to ensure that we were all more than content and happy during our stay. We have shared many memories there and hope to revisit them in a future stay in this amazing hotel.
