Property is a wonderful, old and well maintained,19c manor house. Beautifully preserved. Staff and owners are very good and easy to communicate with. No issues at all.

This place is incredible! If you're looking for a wonderful, peaceful escape, look no further. It's located in a beautiful neighborhood, Plateau-Mont Royal and close to Mile End. It's also close to the Sherbrooke metro stop, so getting around Montreal is very easy. Ephraim and Yves are helpful, thoughful, and full of bad jokes. They make you feel comfortable, answer all your questions and are ready to talk on a wide variety of topics from history to politics. The breakfasts were all amazing, with lots of choices and plenty of coffee. The house has beautiful woodwork (there is no elevator, so be aware!) and the rooms are furnished nicely. We had the Frontenac room which was spacious and has a window seat and table where we enjoyed many a bottle of wine. Our room shared a bathroom with one other room. The bathroom was large, clean and full of everything you need--from shampoo and lotion to cotton balls, band-aids and mouthwash. We loved every minute of our stay and plan to return!

El lugar es increible; Las habitaciones son amplias y muy cómodas; Yves es un excelente anfitrión; y los desayunos son muy muy buenos. Les recomiendo ampliamente el lugar. Ademas de tener acceso facil al metro y casi a cualquier parte de Montreal

The host were amazing and the location is close to all the major attractions downtown, which are a mile or two away . so easy to walk too

This is the absolute best place to stay in Montreal. A perfect location for getting around the city by car, public transport, or walking.
As for the hotel itself, it is a gorgeous building that is exceptionally well-maintained by Yves and Ephraim. A very clean, quiet, and welcoming environment. If you're going to be staying in Montreal, make sure to do yourself a favour and stay here!

Parfait séjour de 3 nuits au Gingerbread Manor.
Les hotes sont fort sympathiques et aux petits soins.
La demeure est magnifique, style rétro
Les chambres sont spacieuses et la literie très confortable. Nous n'avons manqué de rien, tout est pensé pour que nous nous sentions comme à la maison.
Les petits déjeuners sont variés et excellents, animés par nos 2 hôtes qui ont plaisir à discuter avec nous.
Le métro est à 5 min à peine.
Cest une adresse à vraiment recommander

It was a delight getting to know the owners of this B&B. Located on a quiet street in the heart of a really fun neighborhood, it was easy walking to some of the best restaurants and shops in town. I would definitely book again.
