Montville Mountain Inn

Lovely hotel, owners friendly & attentive. Decor is a little dated but room was very cosy & comfortable. Short walk into town, lots of independent shops & restaurants

Very clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff, plenty of parking. Right next door to the bar and grill which was handy on a week night when not much open locally.

It was very nice stay. The manager keeps the pool very clean everyday and the facilities were clean & tidy. It was very quiet, and the windows let in a nice breeze with heavy curtains that kept the sun out. It had a beautiful balcony with table & chairs to sit out on. Of course Montville is a small town you can walk to anywhere from the property. I would very much recommend booking a table at The Edge restaurant which is across the street. The view is incredible.

Lovely and friendly lady at the front deak. Room was lovely, clean, tidy with lovely views from the balcony. Thank you, will need to revist in winter.

Such a lovely place! Old buildings still with the original (presumably early 80s) bathroom etc, a little damp smelling and there was some mould in the bathroom but it did not bother me at all. Lovely spot with plenty to do! The staff were ever so kind and friendly and helped me out with several questions and queries. The saltwater pool needed a clean but I believe the amount of bugs was due to the placement (right in a canopy area of the hills and forest). Everything you need for a trip away. Lovely restaurant next door! The entire place is so charming and wonderful. I hope to stay again!

There was no offer for Breakfast or suggestion for availability nearby. The evening meal in the Montville Cafe Bar & Grill next door was fantastic. Compared to other places we have stayed recently we were surprised there were no USB charging ports in rooms.

Rooms slightly dated and air conditioning had trouble cooling room

Helpful management and staff; great location but still very quiet.

Friendly staff, easy check in & out. Room was very spacious & comfy bed. Very clean. Only downfall was the wifi wasnt working so couldnt get internet or Bluetooth/ chromecast to TV, so couldnt watch anything, except normal TV channels. When we asked why it wasnt working, the staff just said it had been out for nearly a week & hopefully will be fixed in the next few days. There was no mention of the wifi not working when we checked in.
