Pittsburgh Airport Inn and Suites

Place is run down. There was a leaking roof. Absolutely no response on messages sent through trip.com. Response of the receptionist was to call directly. Makes sense. But then why doea trip send you emails with chats from the hotel?!

Property is under renovation. The parts that are done look very good! The work is only a minor inconvenience during the day and happens during the day. No worries of noise in the evening or at night. The staff was friendly and helpful. This was a good value for me for a single night stay before an early flight. Plenty of parking for my rental car.

This hotel is under renovation and man, is it turning out great! I'm writing this half-way through my week-long stay, I'm that confident that the rest of the week will turn out as the first half has. Formerly a Hampton Inn, it's now a Choice Hotel (best known for Comfort Inns) and being renovated. It's located adjacent to a Double Tree Inn, helpful to know as the sign for this hotel is small, unlit and hard to see at night. The location is very nice, in Moon Township and adjacent to the Pittsburgh International Airport. You'll be there in minutes. Robert Morris Univ. is close by as is lots of shopping and restaurants. The area hosts one of the nicest Walmarts I've ever visited. Rooms are very nice, with a coffeemaker and a nice wardrobe that includes an ironing board a full-sized steam iron. Floors have vending and ice machines. It's a great value considering complimentary breakfast is served daily in the lobby. I was here for a large event and this hotel was one of the recommended sites, so I was able to get a discount on the room. It's very clean, no complaints there. Plenty of towels and washcloths and they're super plush. There is no noise, from the street or the nearby airport. The hotel staff and professional and friendly. For a hotel under renovation, they're doing very well.

We needed a place to stay near the airport after a concert at Star Lake. We found this place at a great price and we were glad we did! Everyone was friendly and welcoming. It was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. It used to be a Hampton Inn but is now a Choice hotel. I would definitely stay here again!!

First, the good— we were greeted as Hilton Honors members, which is nice, (but not a big deal), since we spend a lot of nights at Hilton hotels. The common areas seem to be fairly well kept and in order. The king room that we had was small, but clean. The not so good— the bathroom in our king room smelled like urine. Our guess is that the floor was not cleaned prior to our arrival (not a good first impression). The television in our room was not usable. There was no live TV and no cable TV… extremely disappointing! Apparently, the only thing you can do is stream apps, and although the Wi-Fi worked in the room, it did not seem to work on the TV. Not a good thing if you don’t stream TV apps or have your passwords with you. I don’t know if this is a new thing in the Hotel business, but it seems like an extremely cheap way to save a buck. Pretty disgraceful in our opinion. Breakfast was just , ehh. The food was not very warm, however, the selection was OK. It seems like an older hotel and does not have a pool. We chose to use some of our reward points to stay one night here. We wish we would have looked around and saved our points. Sorry to say that we would not stay here again with so many other options available in the area.
