I stayed here for one night this week, largely because everywhere else was booked out. The room was basic but clean and comfortable, containing a double bed and a single bed, with an ensuite. The exhaust fan in the ensuite was very noisy! Check in was fast and friendly, paying upon check in, with the friendly receptionist emailing me a receipt immediately. There is a connected Chinese Restaurant off the reception area and the food smelt good, although I dined elsewhere with colleagues. There are ironing facilities and a limited range of toiletries here, but no face washers. All up, I had a good stay, it is a solid 3 star hotel - as long as you set your expectations you will have a good stay. Parking is available directly outside your room. The hotel was very affordable for my stay. The motel i walking distance to the workers club, the Black Nugget hotel and to the shopping centre, which includes both a supermarket and other stores.

Rooms are pleasantly clean and there is a great atmosphere. Very good value as well. Our business highly recommends this motel above others in the area!! All the staff gave us great service and what a bonus having the Chinese restaurant attached.
