comfortable and clean, we had a very nice night here and the breakfast was well worth it. The room was a family room and suited us just right. well worth 1 night but there is not much to do or see in Morecombe.

My wife and I enjoyed a 7-night stay here in early June, I must admit that we had stayed here before and knew what to expect, which was nicely decorated clean surroundings, good food and friendly staff that were perfectly happy to make the effort to ensure that the hotel guests were well looked after and happy. Entertainment is provided on certain evenings, with a Bingo night midweek, no one could describe me as a bingo fan, but the evening was relaxed and entertaining enough to make it an enjoyable couple of hours. The Auckland Hotel is on my list for another visit soon.

The hotel room and bathroom was clean and looked like it had been recently refreshed , however the breakfast was acceptable but now down to the evening meal having booked in through a coach trip friday to Monday half board , I was served frozen oven roast type potatoes with frozen peas and chicken very bland .The next meal was braising /chuck steak came with what could be classed as oven chips ,the final meal was chicken with all the trimmings at this point we had fresh carrots , again frozen roast potatoes stuffing nope didn't recognise this as being stuffing .It would appear that there is meat provided which was cooked ok but everything else was frozen ...most of the clientele are elderly who probably would not complain ,however this is how it is do not appreciate frozen accompaniments

Only stayed one night because of the recent 5 star reviews, are they family/friend written, picture of booked room is nothing like the room we got, my dogs kennel is bigger, don’t get me started on the bathroom, still waiting on the hot water to come through. Great view of the seagull poop from our window, always had to ring for service which understand cos there’s hardly any staff, decor was nice but that’s where it ends for us, won’t be back

mixed review were we unlucky room 208 chipped bath, bathroom door brocken lock,. I think your cleaning staff should have reported, room cold dinning room cold early June weather was very poor !! staff nice helpful cheakout time a joke 9 30 am a few problems food wise not the quality of food it was excellent but my main meal cold when I spoke to a member of staff he didn't think it was possible but did say I should have said something my last breakfast was great now I know how you work would it stop me coming again no I would return

Lovely friendly family owned hotel well positioned on the front in Morecambe. It's well decorated and immaculately clean. The staff are all lovely as is the fabulous food. It's well situated for visitors to The Lake District. My only problem was the tiny shower .. I'm big ( I know I am ) but I really struggled in and out of it.

The hotel was excellent, very clean , well decorated . Our room had a sea view and was well appointed and had free WiFi.The food was of superb quality with a good choice both at breakfast and evening meal . The staff were very friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at the Auckland Hotel with Ellen Smith Tours and we enjoyed our time there very much. In particular the staff were amazing, particularly Julie who seemed to be everywhere! Our room (217 - fabulous sea view) was clean and comfortable and the food was excellent. We will return.

We had a lovely clean room at the back staff lovely, i had a lovely gluten free breakfast, if i have a little twine i was cold through the night but my husband was comfortable and it was the coldest weekend this year, We will stay again ,thank you all xs
