Saved my marriage last time we went as i booked in somewhere else but walked out. Had a look here and wow, loved it and booked to stay the night.
Thought we would try again.
Lovely place, bar clean and inviting. Rooms clean.
Food brilliant.
We will be back a 3rd time soon.
Our little get away place.

The room was amazing and breakfast, but the noise was hard to sleep due nightclub coming through the windows which were shut and evrryone shiuting outside. Got no sleep until 12.30pm. Would recommend for those having a night out but not if having an early morning.

Friendly staff added to the experience of staying here. The Royal is well located on the seafront, small car park available (pay) behind hotel, rooms are clean and recently refurbished, ours had great views over the sea to the Lake District complete with a magnificent sunset. Breakfast was included and choice was good and very substantial.
We only stayed 1 night but overall found the hotel very good value for money

Property offered all anyone would wish for an overnight stay. Room was welcoming with more than adequate facilities. Staff were excellent and the food was very good.

Staff really helpful, room recently refurbished and very clean. Food excellent. Although music on at night downstairs the doors really muted it to the point we barely noticed it. Very good value for money. Will definitely be back
