Cute little property for a great price. It has the basics with a view of the bay across the street. I would stay here again. Lots of great restaurants (mainly fresh seafood) and other businesses a few minutes' walk away.

My partner and I came for business and pleasure. The room is clean and spacious. Good parking area, walking distance to store and foodie spots. The owner is very sweet. On our last day she came by our room to check in to see how our stay was and if there was anything we didn’t like. She was very sweet. When we come back to morro bay we are definitely booking here again

There was faint but clear smell of either cigarettes or a heavy fragrance oil in the room for my full five-day stay that didn't go away even after leaving the windows open. Additionally where my room was located, the light from the hallway seeped through the shutters that didn't close all the way. Also, the water pressure of the shower was far too low and there was not enough on-site parking so I had to park on the street.
On the plus side, the front desk was friendly, welcoming and quick. The rest of the room was mostly clean (a lamp was slightly broken, nail polish was on a side table and some discoloration on the walls) and the bed was comfortable. The area was fairly quiet if you don't mind the sound of the sea life and it was a short walk down/up a hill from the bay.

The property owners were amazing! They were so friendly! Our 4 year old son has autism so traveling can be hard, but Bay View made us feel so comfortable and welcome! The hotel was well kept and the perfect location walking distance from everything! The owners found out it was my birthday and gave me a bottle of wine! We will definitely be back!
