Beautifully renovated inn with laid back charm and nice decor. The bathroom needs some upkeep, but overall a nice place to stay for a long weekend. Sound insulation can be a bit poor. Main lobby and reception is modern, large with view over the lagoon and the Morro rock.

Our mattresses were the worst that we have ever slot on. Staff was incredibly rude when I called to let them know that we could not sleep and wanted to move. I was given smart remarks and an attitude.

Jacuzzi was broken, bird poop everywhere including out outdoor furniture, room was not very clean, grounds not maintained.

I would definitely stay again, just not eat in the restaurant. We did lunch on the Embarcadero and charcuterie in the room for dinner the second night. Room comfort from bed to fireplace & bathroom were great. The restaurant needs work. The bartender was tending and serving food and tabs and was a little overwhelmed. Food taste was bland, luke warm upon arrival and just not good. The hot tub was nice but looked like it hadn't had the tiles scrubbed in some time.

I booked with the property because it looked like a high end resort online. In reality, it appears that it has been run down. The front desk experience was great and helpful - however, my suite I stayed in was dirty and I was given a blanket with a blood stain from previous tenants. When I changed the sheets myself (you only receive house keeping if you stay for 3 or more days) I found that instead of a king or queen standard bed, I had two twins beds pushed together and it was very uncomfortable. My restaurant experience was a 2/10 with sub par food and rude waitstaff and bar tenders.

The location is superb! The service by Kevin on Sunday morning was professional and so friendly The room with the view and the fireplace was wonderful. But the food was just basic and the service at the Bar too… . The big issue is the food service does stop at 8.15 pm ..!! This is pretty short for a dinner on a week-end !… Finally, The restaurant could elevate his game in term of choice and overall service… However .. we will be back for the scenery and wild life!

The hotel is beautiful on the inside and out, check in went smooth and overall we had a great stay. The bed was super soft, which, for my husband and I was very uncomfortable. It was probably one of the softest beds we’ve ever slept in. If you have a back like ours and need a firmer mattress, this is not a place I would stay for multiple nights. There were also ants that we found later in the evening that had gotten into non-food items so that was annoying but when you stay at a hotel that is in a forest type atmosphere your bound to have bugs. Friendly service, beautiful, outdoor scenery, and the spa/pool are heated and lovely!
