The room is quite big, the facilities should be there, the water in the bathroom is not big enough, it is said that the sea view room does not see the sea at all, the service desk is basically self-service, there are few service staff, no breakfast, you have to solve it yourself, okay There are many restaurants nearby, typical motels, sound insulation is not good, wooden structure, prices are still quite expensive, still a distance from the sea, there are many nearby hotels, you can try other hotels next time.

The stay is amazing. The cable tv needs to fixed! They need to have something ALOT better currently half the channels are audio only or dont exist (on vacation sometimes a good show before bed is helpful). Then the shower, while i understand water conservation in therory, but when the shower takes 30 to 40 plus minutes just to get the shampoo out of the hair and soap off the skin is ridiculous (my normal shower should only take maybe 10 to 15 minutes) i would advise an increase of the shower pressure still saving water and not so darn irritating.

We have stayed here many times, like the location, walking distance to all the restaurants on the Embarcadero, downtown shops. Very quiet and comfortable. It’s our go to instead of Pismo.

I am 82 years old an need a walker to move around. My wife is 81 and has some physical limitations. When we arrived at the Fireside Inn we discovered that there were no elevators and no hotel staff was available to help us up the stairs with our luggage to the second floor. The room was clean but not worth the $328.00 a day rate. The TV did not work well, the bathroom had only a tub with a plastic shower curtain, the view of the ocean was poor, the sitting room just had 2 chairs. The owners did not provide any brewed coffee or breakfast food. I would not recommend this hotel especially to older visitors. The advertising was very deceiving of the amenities offered. The photos of the rooms were nothing like what the rooms had to offer.
