We attended for our son & daughter in laws wedding,the venue was beautiful but food not so good,the mother of the bride has a serious allergy which was red flagged but still served food that shouldn’t have been,the staff were amazing in trying to sort it out,all staff at venue very professional including bar staff,Angela & Jay who I believe are front of house & main receptionist were amazing in sorting things out so best western need to recognise their staff,now for the breakfast the following morning,absolutely horrendous,staff had to go out & purchase eggs as there wasn’t any sausages some cooked & some raw,best western again need to sort this out,the rooms was very nice & beds comfortable,would I come her again? Yes if attending a venue but definitely not book the breakfast which I might add they did refund us for.

Held an event here in May 2024. The Old Hall is lovely. Staff pleasant but busy. The hotel itself feels a little more tired and disorganised each time we come. Buffet package: In my opinion: Sandwiches poor, 'cakes' awful, dietary requirements not provided for despite requests and reassurance they would be. I wouldn't use their catering again. Buy in food, e.g. from Costco, HUGELY better quality, standard, presentation and taste. As a family we've used this hotel for two major life events now as it's geographical location is ideal. No more. When I complained about standards part of their response was: "we do not stipulate anywhere that we provide ‘upmarket or posh’ buffets/food, this is an assumption which has been made on your part." So if you want or are expecting upmarket or posh, go elsewhere as they are not aspiring to this.

Having stayed a few times on business at another local hotel, I was pleased I made the switch to Mosborough Hall Hotel. Much cleaner, nicer food, far more professional with comfortable surroundings. Highly recommend

Horrendous stay with a young child, the heating in the room was broken, we were given a room direct across from a wedding so got no sleep, management didn’t care at all. I’ve stayed in many best westerns but this was the absolute worst! Breakfast wasn’t great either, absolutely avoid

After a shaky start we had a great time. Breakfast staff are great, just what you need in the morning. we ate in the bar and restaurant both really good. would defiantly go back.
