We stayed 2 nights and everything was just great. Friendly and very supportive staff, nice and very clean rooms, comfortable beds, very delicious food and plenty of food option, also for vegetarians. We can really fully recommend it, there is nothing to complain about.

Nous avons passé une fin de journée, nuitée et matinée à cet hôtel après avoir atterri au Kilimandjaro. Nous sommes une famille de 3. L’hôtel offre un très bon service avec un personnel extrêmement gentil et à l’attention des gens. La zone du restaurant/bar/piscine est particulièrement agréable. Nous avons été positivement surpris par la très bonne qualité du restaurant. Seul petit bémol (pour autant qu’il y en ait un): le service de chambre n’est pas passé pendant notre repas pour asperger la chambre d’anti-moustique (service classique dans la région). On retiendra donc surtout la gentillesse du personnel et la qualité des repas.

Nous avons passé 2 jours dans le Chanya Lodge. L’environnement est magnifique, jardin verdoyant. Les chambres sont agréables et le personnel passe tous les jours (mise en place moustiquaire, eau etc…) Le restaurant en extérieur offre un cadre sublime. Le buffet permet de goûter à différents plats locaux (sweet potatoes excellent, fruits, jus de fruits frais) de plus les serveuses et cuisiniers sont très souriant et agréable. Aurélien & Magali.

The people that work at this hotel deserve 10 stars! Professional and very accommodating in every way imaginable. They make the property what it is. The restaurant food is delicious but a bit pricey for the area. If you’re staying in Moshi or intending to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, I definitely recommend staying here. Our favorite part about this hotel were the workers & the food!

We loved our stay at Chanya Lodge. We stayed here before climbing Kilimanjaro (gates are just a short drive away). The food was amazing and the space was beautiful. Wonderful staff who made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Safe, clean, and authentic. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Está bastante a las afueras de Moshi. Es un hotel de mochileros ya que queda en dirección a Kilimanjaro. El hotel impresiona a primera vista por los jardines y la vegetación pero las habitaciones son muy incomodas y nada acogedoras, demasiado rústicas. Da la impresión de que están poco limpias y las sábanas huelen a humedad. La cama es pequeña y mucho más después de venir de los lodgs donde estuvimos de safari, donde las camas con las mosquiteras eran enormes. La primera noche imposible dormir por el colchón que se hundía y tuvimos que cambiar de habitación al día siguiente y aunque un poco mejor el colchón aún así no descansamos bien. La wifi dentro de la habitación apenas tenía cobertura. El buffet muy pobre, muy poca variedad de productos, El comedor es precioso por el entorno que tiene pero la comida muy básica. El personal como siempre muy bien, en recepción atendieron nuestras quejas y enseguida daban cuenta de ello.

The staff at Chanya Lodge are the friendliest and most attentive people, I felt so looked after. Every day they greeted me by name and the restaurant staff always greeted me with familiarity. The food was amazing and so fresh, the rooms were beautiful and clean. Every night they set up your bed to make it comfortable and welcoming. I can’t recommend this place enough if you are looking for a place to stay in Moshi!

Rip off prices, tasteless food, and my my " blank" internal review was completed for me by staff with Excellent all around scores without my consent. Facilities are rubbish, toilet leaked, no WiFi and my complaints were met with a we don't care attitude because I'd already posted a negative Google review
