Best Hotels near Passo Monte Croce di Comelico, Moso

I came to B&B Tre Croci Cortina for a solo stay – I've been here on sabbatical for 6 days and 5 nights, and my stay at this B&B was nothing short of amazing. It's located right outside of Cortina, which is very convenient because of how close it is to Lake Sorapis, Lake Braies, and Tre Cime & Cadini di Minsurina. The hotel staff is very kind, patient, and courtesy... and the kitchen/dining staff is PHENOMENAL. They're very intentional about making your staff feel like home. Yamirka & her fellow dining staff made the difference in my staff. The rooms are very modern & there is plenty of space. The view of the mountains is beautiful, too. The only cons I would mention are the level of noise from patrons who don't do their best to abide by the ask for quiet in the hallways – I don't think it's intentional, but the closeness to the hallways makes a bit of a difference. Also, I'm someone who likes to sleep with it very cold, and my room thermostat wouldn't go down for some reason (I just slept with the door open as it was cold outside at night). I couldn't recommend this place more. If you're coming to the Dolomites, stay here! 🖤

Sono tornato all’hotel Brunnerhof dopo 40 anni. Molte le migliorie apportate, con una spa molto curata e ben attrezzata. Da sottolinear la grande ospitalità, la pulizia degli spazi, l’ottima cucina e la cura di ogni aspetto da parte delle titolari. Davvero una esperienza molto positiva per un weekend di sci!!

Nice hotel in a solid location. Great base for exploring the nearby peaks. Shame the weather was not up to scratch but would stay again. Breakfast was solid.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre, and is located in the heart of the city centre. The kitchen was a big kitchen to Mrs. Maria, who always choked us in the room. The only sin may be to improve, few information about paths and activities to do nearby ... but with the internet you find everything! Paths a plan de corona s fabulous !!!! Beautiful anterselve lake.

The pros: We stayed in a Superior room, and it was a beautifully decorated, very spacious room and bathroom, with plenty of hanging and storage space for your things. We did not have an issue with the noise from the bar, which I was concerned about based on other reviews. From what one of the staff said, there are certain times of the year where there is music playing late. We enjoyed the ambiance of the bar area, which was quiet when we were there, and we enjoyed talking with the bartender, who was happy to tell us about the history of the hotel and its connection to Hemingway. The cons: there is a paid parking garage on the premises and a free parking lot for the hotel about a 2-minute walk away. However, the free parking lot is very confusing to find by car, and the directions and map they gave us when we checked in were not very helpful. Even after we'd found it the first time, the second time we had to park, we had to drive around for 30 minutes trying to get to it again. Other guests we talked to had the same issue. The parking lot is in a ZTL zone, which they failed to tell us in advance. Afterwards they explained ”no camera, no problem”, but it added to the stress our 1st time parking there. As best you can, try to get really good directions in advance. Perhaps if they can email it before you arrive, you could try to figure it out in advance. The bigger con for us was that breakfast was unfortunately our worst customer service experience of our recent two trips to Italy. We were so shocked by how both of the staff members working in the breakfast room acted. They told us to move from a table by the window because it was a table for 4, and there were only 2 of us. You can see from the photos that this is a very large dining room, and both of the days we were there, no more than 2-4 tables were ever occupied with no more than 4 people each. Both days the eggs were empty, and we were told they'd be right out, but they never came. We sat waiting for our coffee (which was in a carafe the employee was carrying around) for 15 minutes each morning, while we watched them both folding napkins and walking around the dining room straightening the tablecloths, etc, even after we'd asked if we could have some coffee. The 2nd day, my husband eventually walked across the street to a cafe to buy us coffee and bring it back. With 2 employees working and it being a self-serve buffet, and with so few guests there, it was just surprising. It ended up leaving us with a bad feeling about the hotel, which otherwise, we really liked.

Cortina is sort of the heart of the Dolomites (site of the '56 winter Olympics and the upcoming 2026 winter olympics) thus Hotel des Alpes is a beautiful little town and ideal location for exploring these breathtaking mountains and lakes. It is located on the main road north of the town with parking on one side and the hotel on the other. The staff was helpful with finalizing plans for where to visit nearby with realistic with the time available. There is a nice sitting area just off the lobby with bar service, a pleasant dining area that is used for dinner and breakfast bar, and beautiful views from the room and restaurant. Would definitely return if we get the chance to spend more time in the Dolomites.
