Seal Cove Inn

The location was prime! It’s in the heart of the best coastal hiking in half Moon Bay and an easy walk to a historic eatery with an unbeatable coastal view. No need to ever get in your car! The staff was warm and helpful and we were greeted with chocolate chip cookies, and offerings of wine before dinner. The in itself may be the best part as it’s a charming old Cotswold styled Manor house right on the edge of the beautiful California coastal path. A real gem!

It was fabulous! Loved our room. The staff was very accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. The Inn is located near a marine reserve so you have an easy walk to watch the seals. I would highly recommend.

The Seal Cove Inn is a beautiful inn with lovely grounds. It is situated immediately adjacent to a nature preserve. Just out the back of the inn you can access the trails that overlook the ocean. Each morning, from the balcony of my room, I could sip coffee while watching the rabbits, quails and other wildlife caviar in the back garden. The array of birds that can be seen and heard was tremendous. Nearby, you can walk to areas and witness the seals sunbathing on the rocks. A truly magical place. Service was excellent. Breakfast can be brought to your room or eaten in the dining room. It was a wonderful experience.

We enjoyed are time as always here at Seal Cove Inn. It had been 10 years since we have been been here and it was as welcoming, cozy and comfortable as it always had been! We had a lovely time

This is a beautiful, comfortable Inn. The room has all the amenities. The property and surrounding area are spectacular. The best part of the Inn is the way the staff makes you so welcome. I always feel like I’m visiting their home.

Absolutely phenomenal stay. Everything was perfection. The room, the breakfast, the ambiance, the wine in the evening and the extra time the staff takes with each guest. The care taken here, the location and the beautiful comfort on the inn make this a perfect stay for couples.

This inn was lovely! Staff was amazing and the grounds are beautiful. The interior is very clean and decorated simply and tastefully . Our room was charming and very cozy with a fireplace and a balcony over looking the garden. We hiked right from the property to explore the beach and tide pools. We were served a generous, complimentary glass of wine at 5 and enjoyed sitting in the garden courtyard with the birds and wild bunnies. We were able to walk to the historic Moss Beach Distillery and have a wonderful meal. In the morning we had complimentary breakfast brought to our room along with a carafe of Mimosas. It was fabulous and I highly recommend !!!
