Nice quiet hotel convenient for our visit en route to Silverstone circuit. Needed 2 single rooms for self and son which were clean and comfortable. Friendly welcome on arrival and lovely breakfast which we were able to pre-order for early departure.

A really good find! A very warm welcome and a very comfy room. Slept like a log!! Breakfast was great with a good selection and fantastic service. I’ll definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

A great personal service with comfort and cleanliness at the top great breakfast and help with any information you need a truly wonderful place to stay which we will use again and again no doubt.......Ideally situated in the lovely village of Moulton with lots of pubs and restaurants close to Northampton

Lovely old building, good car parking, great breakfast and lovely staff! That sums it up! Great old building feels like a part of history, but rooms were really good for us as we were staying at for a festival. More car parking than you might think. Easy to walk around the village.

Stayed here for my partners birthday as a base before travelling to Silverstone. Stayed for 2 nights and we can honestly say this was the best hotel we’ve stayed in as a couple. Beautiful location right in the heart of Moulton village, away from noise and business of cities. Susan, our host was so warm and welcoming and a fountain of knowledge for things to do. If you’re looking for a cosy homey feel, stay here! The breakfast was also amazing, and lots of lovely areas to visit nearby (just ask Susan!)

Very friendly, spotlessly clean, great breakfast. Would have no hesitation in using The Poplars again and recommending. Located in a lovely village, with a variety of places to eat, so no problem with the restaurant being closed at the moment.

I visit Northampton a couple of times a year on business so I'm often on the lookout for places that are safe, clean and comfortable. I reckon I hit the bullseye with The Poplars. Plenty of parking, and the welcome was warm. I was shown all the local eateries on the map and after checking into my cosy room, I took a stroll around the village before dinner. I had a good night's sleep and breakfast was every bit as good as promised (and fabulous staff). I look forward to my next trip.

The owner really made the family gathering for a special birthday celebration a joy. From arriving to leaving, after a generous breakfast, everyone was smiling. Our stay will live long in the collective memory - it was just perfect. Really must commend the weekend stay to the highest degree.

Gathered for a family birthday, great place, welcoming, helpful, room was clean and comfortable, all good 😊 I’d happily visit again, recommend to family and friends. Good breakfast, accommodating of my veganness aand plenty of space to relax outside of the room 😊
