It was the first time I stayed in a hotel and someone kept knocking on the door at 2:30 in the middle of the night. After I complained to the front desk, no one came up half an hour later. I was speechless and I will not stay here again.

I booked a room on 8/23 for a 8/31-9/2 stay at Homewood Suites Mt Pleasant in Charleston SC. Upon arriving I was informed that my reservation had been cancelled by the hotel. My husband and I drove 2 hours to get to the hotel and received no notification from the hotel that they had cancelled our reservation. The clerk at the front desk was no help and when I asked to speak to a manager she said there was no manager onsite. I immediately called Hilton Honots and was advised that my reservation was active as well as my check in. After they called the hotel to find out what happened they informed me that the hotel overbooked guests and they had no room for us. This made no sense to me since we were confirmed a week ahead of time and I was able to check in and received a room number. We had dinner reservation and were celebrating our anniversary and my birthday so this completely disrupted our entire weekend plans. We were left to try to secure new accommodations and try to salvage the rest of our weekend. I understand that things like this happen in this industry however it’s the unprofessional behavior and lack of consideration that was so appalling. I believe greed resulting in the hotel cancelling our reservation and rebooking a new guest at a higher rate. Disgusting! Do better HILTON!!

Staff was great, very friendly. Landscaping and the outside areas of the property were very nice and landscaping was well maintained. The inside of the room was clean but could use some updates. The carpet in our room was stained in several places and the furniture was very worn.

This really was a great place to stay! It was clean, people were friendly. We stayed 2 nights to do a quick tour of Charleston & visit some friends. Very centrally located to downtown Charleston. You will need a car to get around though. Free breakfast too!

Our room was very clean especially the bathroom. No mildew or funny smells. The carpet was clean, no trash or smoke smells in the hallways. Beds were comfortable. Everythingthing was wonderful!

Nice location, 8 min to Isle of Palms, a lot nice restaurants and stores. 20 min from Charleston downtown. Very clean. Planing come back
