The hotel is new and the location is very convenient. The staff attitude was great! Nice breakfast. The room is so spacious and modern, however, the bathroom facilities design could be more private. The bathtub is in the middle of the room and the shower and toilet sliding door only covers one space at a time. It is only suitable for intimate couples. The pool is great but the design is also a little strange; it is located at the entrance of the hotel and visible from the street, the ladder to get into the pool is only accessible through the lobby. When you leave the pool the lobby floor will be wet and potentially hazardous. Anyway, we had a great stay here.

Bo Yin Hotel (Li River Secluded Hotel) Our visit to Guilin was to spend time with my wife’s large family and we twice stayed at the Li River Secluded hotel, for a total of 7 nights. Our expectations of a hotel experience are high, so we avoid using American chain hotels when possible. The Li River Secluded hotel more than met those expectations by combining exceptional customer service with a laid back, but luxurious guest experience. On arrival, we were offered a room upgrade. The upgrade accommodation was located on the ground floor, so this did not appeal to us until we were shown the room … the suite was spacious and tastefully furnished with a Zen motif that included a ceremonial tea table. Both my wife and I practice daily yoga, so the ample floor space immediately appealed to us. A room-width picture window featured a view of the Li River Lake and its pair of pagodas. Remote-controlled drapes and shears sound-proofed and eliminated light from the room when closed. A buffet daily breakfast on the 8th (top) floor was included and featured a good selection of both Chinese and Western options. We had family commitments that prevented us from eating dinner at the restaurant, but my wife hosted an afternoon tea session in the restaurant for some of her friends and the tea and pastries were excellent. In addition, fresh fruit was placed in the room every day, and the room refrigerator was refreshed daily with water, sodas, and snacks. The hotel was generally maintained in pristine condition and effected the highest standards of cleanliness. This applied to all the facilities apart from a small exercise room on the 5th floor. This consisted of a set of barbells (no bench), a fixed weight station (functional), and 2 treadmills, neither of which functioned properly … that said, I did use the weight station and the patio outside of the exercise room for yoga on a couple warmer days. There was also a guest laundry on the 5th floor which my wife used on one occasion. The customer service attitude in Chinese hotels is generally an improvement on what we are accustomed to in North America, but at the Bo Yin Hotel it’s exceptional. This means that English language speakers (I’m Canadian and my wife is Chinese by birth) would experience no problem in addressing any of the front desk, maid, or restaurant personnel. For those who prefer to order take-out food, a robotic delivery service is used, a feature that tends to fascinate any child you might be traveling with. Sean Bennett

The greeting at reception upon arrival was warm and friendly. The team spoke wonderful English and were really accommodating and friendly. I was travelling with my parents and the team were very kind to them and gave them a warm welcome to Guilin which even included a complimentary birthday cake for my father! The location of the hotel was excellent. The views from the top floor of the “elephant trunk” really are excellent, as were the views from our rooms. Breakfast was a good buffet and a mix of western and Chinese food. The Chinese food menu was definitely more exciting than the western options, but both were good and well enjoyed. The service team were very nice and were able to accommodate special dietary requests. I would definitely recommend.

Awsome hotel in Guiln coty location,services and a good breakfast with afternoon tea ,very cool greated with warm welcome by the hotel desk staff and found the desk staff very professional and pleasant to talk to especially Lisa and Xiao X...both had a good manner and polite attitude 😀 couldn't be more happy with my staying in the hotel along with my wife ...defntely recommend this hotel

我住過一間一眼就讓我心動的民宿，是那種山水之間總透着神祕的高級感~坐享古鎮視角，委婉的氣息日夜盡收眼底！ 沙發區配有書吧，格外有情調~ 復古輕奢的設計帶着一點點新英格蘭的高貴血統，加上陽朔的含蓄與浪漫~從鍍金燭台以及啞光的靜默壁爐和房間一起感受隱世祕境的靜謐內斂~ 卧室的背景牆也很美，線條復古別緻，大床和磨砂質感暖光吊燈配極了窗外的綠，搭配加撞色沒有一絲違和感，一切都是那麼優雅恬靜。在那裡的每一刻彷彿置身於另一個時空，在靜謐的星城度過假日的夜晚~

After checking in, I was very impressed and would repurchase the hotel I stayed in again🏨. After arriving in Guilin, I wanted to find a hotel with a good reputation to stay in. My friend recommended the Convention and Exhibition Hotel to me, saying that it has good service and a beautiful swimming pool, and it is very worth staying in. I checked in during the off-peak period with anticipation. The housekeeper called in advance to check the information, understand the itinerary, help arrange the pick-up, and sent a small guide they made themselves. I followed the guide to check in at the rice noodle shop, which was very delicious😋. I also want to praise the front desk brother who received us that day. He enthusiastically introduced the hotel facilities and helped us take our luggage to the room. Hearing that we were interested in the swimming pool, he also introduced the four most beautiful check-in time periods for the swimming pool. It can be heard that they should have done special research [snickering]. The concierge brother at the door and the sister on the floor were also very enthusiastic. The weather in Guilin was not good today. When checking out, they reminded us to bring an umbrella, which was really heartwarming.

好不容易搶到貴陽到陽朔的票，結果是凌晨4點出發的，結果早上7點多就到陽朔了，也沒做攻略，就看小紅書説西街那邊特別吵，因為我睡眠不好，又喜歡風景房就匆忙定了，因為時間太早了，擔心無法入住，我又🈶大行李，焦慮的給老闆聯繫，結果老闆聽了，直接到高鐵站接我過去，老闆娘解釋房間剛剛退，馬上打掃衞生，還給我拿了洗漱用品，讓我先洗漱着，後來特別快打掃完了， 一個凌晨出發的人能稍事休息一下再去景區簡直太幸福了 老闆人特別好，會介紹遊玩攻略 我是住這裏，然後打車去西街，再去玩十里畫廊什麼的，大家來住要記得早點回來，比較好打車，也有公交車，可以問老闆 去興坪景色特別美，老闆家有電瓶車，價格友好，不用出去被宰 老闆女兒特別會誇誇，很健談，會讓你擁有愉快的心情出門 酒店很新，各方面設施都齊全，衞生很乾凈，住着安心 沒有特意拍照片，平台掛圖就是房間真實的樣子

The lady at the front desk of the hotel is very gentle and speaks softly. I like it very much. The hotel is very clean, the space is large, the location is also very good, and it is very easy to find. I also booked a night after returning from Yangshuo. The rice noodles for breakfast in the hotel are also very delicious. Although there are not many varieties, it is very clean. I will recommend it to people around me.

One of the best hotel where we stayed during our trip around China. Very clean and nice, staff is super friendly and helpful! They helped us a lot with organizing our trip to the rice terraces. They also provide guests with tea on the first floor and woman at the reception kindly shared the tea’s recipe with me when I asked her. Breakfast is great too and laundry is very modern and free. Absolutely great place! I highly recommend it
