This was probably the biggest surprise of our Yunnan trip – we stumbled upon this village by accident. For city dwellers like us, it felt like a paradise. From an extremely impoverished village to one where everyone has an income, the villagers said it was Professor Li Xiaoyun's team (I'm not sure if that's the correct spelling) who helped the village generate tourism revenue. We booked a three-bedroom room for 1730 yuan a night. It was the second day of the ***** New Year, so that's understandable, but seeing in the reviews that it was a poverty alleviation project, we immediately placed the order. Since we were going to book a guesthouse anyway, it wouldn't hurt to do something good. Driving from the Wangtianshu Scenic Area, there's only one road into the village, and the winding roads scared me half to death! Definitely check in during the day! The one-way street makes passing difficult, especially since we were in a campervan. When we arrived, we were truly shocked. It was a village with only one small shop. To be honest, that might not be accurate; there were no restaurants, no milk tea shops, no convenience stores, no coffee shops – absolutely no commercial establishments. Honestly, I was a little shocked because I didn't expect such a pristine, authentic village. Each guest room was in a different family's home. The village has over 60 households and more than 200 people. You can pay the family you're staying at to have their meals prepared, using vegetables they grow themselves and pigs and chickens they raise themselves. I haven't written this review yet because I really wanted to sit down and write a proper review. If my initial impression of the village was surprise, astonishment, and a little regret, then afterwards it was pure joy, delight, and regret for arriving too late. In the evening, I watched the village girls dancing on the basketball court. The owner of the house I stayed at, Brother Deng, was born in 1984. My husband and father ate and drank with him, and he even took my father and husband to visit other villagers. Everyone in the village was simple, honest, and warm-hearted. Although I couldn't understand their dialect, I could feel everyone's kindness and welcome. Even though the rooms weren't very soundproof—after all, it's a wooden village, part of the Yao culture—it was very clean. You could tell they were putting effort into making this a good tourist destination. I hope Hebian Village continues to thrive. See you next time! After checking in, Manager Zhang booked a package for the Wangtian Tree, which was cheaper than the scenic spot. During the stay, you can say WeChat at any time and solve it immediately. It is much better than those large five-star mechanized services and has more warmth. The hotel is very new in all aspects, the bedding is comfortable, it is a five-star standard, the room size is suitable, and it is not crowded for two large and two small people. The bath water is large and comfortable, and the ginger shampoo is also good, and the hair is refreshed after washing. The proprietress is very enthusiastic, the food is very delicious and affordable, the fried pork is very delicious, and the child ate two bowls of rice. The most important thing is that the owner of the homestay is very enthusiastic. He saw that the child was bitten by mosquitoes and blisters and gave green grass paste. It was very useful and did not delay the second day of travel.

Very close to the west gate of the botanical garden, affordable, large room space, relatively simple decoration. But I don't know if the climate here is too humid or what reason. I turned on the cold air conditioner at night and I was awakened by the heat, and I felt that the quilt was airtight. The water is hotter, and the TV can't be seen or even opened at first. The bathroom is separated by a curtain, the floor mat is not absorbent, and the floor is easy to wet after taking a shower. Parking at the door is not convenient, the location is small and there are many stones. When checking in, the boss accidentally informed that the original big bed room was out of room. Fortunately, there was a double room at that time, I changed the reservation, otherwise it would be very troublesome. I hope the boss will check it more in the future.

I went to Laos from Molin to stay there for one night. There was a lot of gray and the cups were gray. It smelled a bit when I went in, and the facilities were very general. I just stayed as a hotel and Molin was not a good hotel.

The room had large beds; our family of three slept very comfortably on two 1.5-meter beds. The location is in the old town, with parking available. The neighborhood is mostly locals.
