Mountain View Hotels in Mengla

What I hate most is these places that rip off customers like crazy during holidays. So I decided to change my plan and go to Luang Prabang, Laos. Since it is not possible to buy D87 transit train tickets during the Spring Festival, you can only buy tickets in sections, first Kunming-Mohan, then cross the border in Mohan to Boten, Laos, and then Boten-Luang Prabang. I took the train to Mohan on February 13th and booked this homestay on Ctrip. It has a high score of 4.8 on Ctrip, so it must be good. I contacted the hotel before arriving in Mohan, and the hotel guy said that he would pick me up at the train station and send me to the border the next day. Sure enough, as soon as I got out of the station, the young man was waiting on the road in front of the train station. After checking in, I was amazed by the intelligence of the hotel, including smart curtains, smart toilets, and showers with digital temperature display. The room was spacious and tidy, and the bedding was clean and fresh. Although I have stayed in many B&Bs, this one is definitely the ceiling among B&Bs. Moreover, the guy is very handsome, and I’m worried that the girl will continue to stay! The only regret is that the hotel does not have breakfast, it would be perfect if there was breakfast.

The room is full of cost-effective, belonging to the best hotel in the vicinity of equipment and facilities, breakfast is rich, equipped with three hangers, but the room has no place to hang hangers, if it can be added, it will be fine.

Clean and tidy, not very spacious, but has a balcony for good ventilation. There's a food street diagonally opposite, and it's a five-minute drive to the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Botanical Garden. The entire room features North American imported oak furniture with no unpleasant odors. Breakfast is reasonably priced and quite comprehensive, offering fried dough sticks, steamed dumplings, red bean buns, corn, sweet potatoes, boiled eggs, fried eggs, stir-fried vegetables, various porridges, fruits, milk, soy milk, coffee, and coconut milk. The special dishes are rice noodles and wontons. The staff are warm and welcoming, and parking is convenient.

This homestay is a 6-story building with a large terrace on the roof. When I went to the terrace to watch the rain, I saw the boss and his wife washing and drying the bed sheets, so the bedding is really changed every guest. I think the most important thing about staying in a homestay is hygiene. Anti-collision stickers are installed on the table corners of the homestay, and there are quite a lot of people living here with children. There are also disposable toilet covers in the bathroom. It takes 3 minutes to take a taxi from the Botanical Garden, 8 yuan, and walk for more than 10 minutes. Eating in the town is much more convenient than in the botanical garden. The boss and the proprietress are very kind, and they will choose to live here in the Botanical Garden in the future.

In the folk houses of Naka Village in the rainforest, the room decoration is very distinctive. Like a forest wooden house, you can see the Naka rainforest outside the window, and there is a stream. The morning scenery is very beautiful. The only thing is that there are not many places to eat in the village. There is a farmhouse at the entrance of the village. The proprietress is very enthusiastic, the food is very delicious and affordable, the fried pork is very delicious, and the child ate two bowls of rice. The most important thing is that the owner of the homestay is very enthusiastic. He saw that the child was bitten by mosquitoes and blisters and gave green grass paste. It was very useful and did not delay the second day of travel.

The place where we stayed was very close to the passenger station and we could reach it on foot. It was very convenient to go to Wangtianshu the next day. You can take the corresponding bus directly at the entrance of the hotel. The bus platform downstairs is very convenient. The room is large and spacious. , And all are of teak quality, In addition, there is also a river view, and the rainbow is particularly beautiful. We also have some delivery service inspections that can help us deal with it. There is a little situation in the air conditioner, and it is also dealt with in time. My favorite is that he has a self-service laundry service, which helps us to play. After Nanna River, we solved the big problem.  pick-up station service. The nearby KTV also sings at night, which interferes with sleep; after sleeping for a while, I feel a little itchy in my thighs. After carefully rubbing it with cold water, I put on my pajamas and pyjamas. The situation is better.

The room had large beds; our family of three slept very comfortably on two 1.5-meter beds. The location is in the old town, with parking available. The neighborhood is mostly locals. It's a few minutes' drive to the scenic area entrance. The showers and toiletries were adequate. Overall, it's good value for money! The owner was very welcoming.

This is a friendly hotel for dogs 🐶, the room is spacious and clean, there is free parking, there is an elevator, the deluxe big bed room is facing the street but the windows are closed, and it is quieter to sleep at night.
