The host was incredibly friendly and even upgraded our room. The food was delicious – we enjoyed a casual dinner of various wild greens and fresh vegetables, and breakfast was substantial. Our chicken soup for lunch the next day was fantastic, and all meals were very reasonably priced. The hotel's location is absolutely superb; it truly feels like you're staying right within the scenic area. We even saw passing tourists stop by to look around and take photos. Mornings offered fresh air, and nights were filled with stars. It was peaceful all day, with almost no noise besides birdsong. There's a large viewing platform, perfect for capturing photos and soaking up the sun. A 10-minute walk up a path behind the hotel leads to stunning terraced fields and canola flower fields, making a trip to Meiganling practically unnecessary. The rooms are spacious and all feature large floor-to-ceiling windows. If you arrive by high-speed train at Sanyang Town, a taxi will get you here in just over ten minutes.

The location is exceptionally strategic where it is easy to roam around the village or to get the view of the village from the opposite side. The owner is very nice, soft-spoken and came out to pick me up after my driver gave him a call in advance. He also introduced to me several strategic spots to take pic while on the way to the hotel but at that time I was too tired to pay attention. Meals i.e. dinner and breakfast were with them, and I would say it is excellent especially breakfast comes with an exceptionally great view.

I want to go back to this guesthouse again after my first visit. I stumbled upon it on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform). I was hoping to see the stars, but a sudden downpour dampened my hopes. However, my parents were very satisfied. Although we didn't see the stars, the scenery was still beautiful, and there were even play facilities for the children! The owner's cooking was also excellent, definitely worth a visit. Even in the heavy rain, I saw the owner driving out to pick up guests – so welcoming! ❤️🔥 The young owner is really stylish; I suggest giving him a salary. The guesthouse is large and beautiful. Next time, I'll definitely go again to see the stars! Apparently, you can even see the Milky Way 🌌. I once thought this place was managed by a group. , and later I asked the staff whether it was true, so I felt that the boss must be a caring person, which makes this place feel so warm and relaxing. Because my husband's foot was injured and it was inconvenient to go to surrounding towns, the buyer helped us buy food and medicine, and delivered them early in the morning before leaving. A big brother helped us carry our luggage until we were put on the boat. The chef's skills have never been forgotten to this day. It made me, a northerner who went to Anhui for the first time, feel the enthusiasm and hospitality of Anhui people. I think I will do it in the future. The hotel is located on the Xin'an River, may be in the development zone, and there are fewer restaurants nearby except for the chain store ”Hui San said”. But for self-driving passengers, it is very convenient to drive to various attractions, and the hotel has plenty of parking spaces. The room was clean and well equipped, but the bathroom occasionally had smoke skewers from other rooms. The breakfast variety is average, and only the first breakfast drank freshly ground coffee, and the other 4 days of coffee machine disappeared. I don't know if it is to save costs or other reasons.

The parking lot is ample, the service is very good, and the room layout and facilities are very comfortable. It is worthy of being an old star hotel, which is incomparable to new hotels and B&Bs. It's a pity that I was so busy visiting the ancient city of Huizhou and buying She inkstones that I didn't think of taking a few photos of the hotel, but I personally think this should be the best hotel in She County, no doubt about it. I will definitely stay here next time I come, it's the best choice!
